Eligibility Criteria

Candidate applying for admission to B. Tech. program through JOSAA/CSAB must satisfy the eligibility criteria as per JOSAA/CSAB guidelines.
Candidates applying for admission to B.Tech. program through SMVDU Direct Counseling (Subject to availability of vacant seats) based on JEE (Main) Rank (CRL) must satisfy the eligibility criteria as per JOSAA/CSAB guidelines except that the minimum aggregate percentage obtained at 10+2 must be 60% or equivalent GPA.
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination are eligible to appear in SMVDUEE (Main).

Admission Details

Admission to B.Tech programs is made through Centralized Counseling conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) / Joint Seat Allocation authority (JOSAA) constituted each year by MHRD, GOI based on the All India Rank secured by the student in the JEE Main Examination. In the event of some seats remaining vacant after completion of JOSAA/CSAB process, the same may be filled by SMVDU through Direct Counseling from the Application Forms received against the National level advertisement that may be issued by the University for the purpose. The Direct Counseling shall also be conducted on the basis of JEE Main All India Rank (CRL) only.
