It would actually depend on your rank. If you would comes under a rank of 2500 in SRMJEE then your tuition fees will be less as compared to the ones who are above 2.5k. Like normally the tuition fees is 2.5 lakhs.

Coming to the hostel fees ,it also depends on what you take ac or non ac , 3- bed ac or non ac. So, generally if we consider 3 bed non ac then it would cost your around 1L per annum excluding the mess fees.

If I consider the return on investment factor in any of the private colleges except bits Pilani, it is very bad. Because if we take up non core branches here still the average packages in these colleges do not go over 5-6 Lakhs. Yes students do get good packages from Amazon, microsoft but the quantity is very minimal and the crowd is too much.

If I consider srm the branch you chose ,it is very demanding in future but if you have an option for any good college like nits or IITs or bits Pilani then go for it then otherwise you can choose these college. It is good. But yes you would be investing 18 lakhs in total and you would get a package of 6-8L if you are pretty average student.

I would recommend that you should be taking up cse ktr main campus as the only difference is that you are getting specialisation in other campus and core cse in main campus. Your actual branch is same.

So, it is better if you take up main campus as their placements stats are strong in comparision to other college. And the main campus is far better in terms of the companies which comes to the college. Companies will always give an edge to the main campus students.

The process of choice filling for srmjee has been started from 28th of may. Candidates can visit the link for srm and that is srmist.edu.in.  Applicants have to submit 110000 before 2nd of june. After you will be required to submit the documents for verification and after that your admission will be confirmed.

The date for round 2 counselling for phase 1 has not been announced yet but it will announce any time soon so you can visit the official link as mentioned above for srm.

Rv college of engineering is a private autonomous engineering college in Bengaluru, Karnataka.The institution is run by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) a not for profit trust. It is ranked 70 by nirf in engineering category. Admissions to the undergraduate program is done by comedk , Kcet and some seats under management quota. The placements and acaedmic at rvce is rated excellent with an average package of 8 lacs. The faculty here are well trained and most of them have done PhD in their subjects. Fees for the btech course is 3 lpa through comedk and around 55k if you take admission through Kcet.
