SRM KTR Campus is good. In round 1 you might have not got Computer Science Engineering with specialization Artificial Intelligence. If you wish to join Computer Science Engineering with specialization Artificial Intelligence in SRM KTR campus then wait for round 2 and chances will be increased for round 2. If you are okay with some other SRM Campus then go for it and see whether you can get Computer Science Engineering with Specialization Artificial Intelligence. First decide whether Campus is important for you or Branch. Based on your priority go ahead. But SRM KTR Campus is good in academics and placements also.

I can advice you to talk to the authorities regarding your problem and tell them a legit excuse in order to make yourself real from your end. They will surely help you if they have seats left to fill in the respective course.

Though Job and Placement Prospects after CSE in either specialization from SRM Ramapuram will be mostly related to Software Development with companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant and Other IT and Software Organizations recruiting from Campus with a median package between 5-8 LPA. Hence your choice of any Specialization wont really affect your Placements.

As far as choice between two is concerned, I believe the AI and ML specialization will be better considering the rising importance of Digital Transformation and Implementation if Machine Learning in Every Organization. Cyber Security and domains like Cryptography or Ethical Hacking for instance, at present doesnt have a strong Job Market and Placement Scope in India. Hence, incase you dont have any particular interest, I would suggest you to pursue AI and ML Specialization in CSE from SRM Ramapuram.

As you have mentioned the rank that you have got in srmjeee phase 1 2021 that is 7k. In this rank you would even get cse in cyber security specialisation. So, you can be rest assured that you will get biomedical engineering in main campus.

Such information aren't true. Last year in SRM university Amravati campus, there was a 100% placement in CSE with 7.5LPA package. So don't worry, just keep on studying.

See this may have many reasons. Some of the possible reasons are:

• More industrial appropriate students were in SRM AMRAVATI
• The number of companies visited the main campus got unsatisfactory responses from the students and thus to fill places the moderate students are taken up.
• Good students in Main campus may have not participated in the placement as a result the 100% placement ratio have reduced.
• The students in Amravati campus may get better exposure to the curriculum due to some good teachers or any other procedures.
