Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you , you have very less chance of getting CSE in SRM as the cutoff of SRM is around 10,000 for CSE.

Sir i'm tensed now after reading the letter from SRM Unniversity stating that I have not been alloted a seat in SRM main campus for CSE with(SP in AI & ML)although getting a rank of 5530 . Sir,so according to you which cs branch has a higher option of geting a seat who has got a rank of 5530?

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you i would like to suggest you to not to panic as cutoffs goes down as the counselling rounds increases as you should follow and sit in every further upcoming rounds.

Do we have to pay the balance fee at srm immediately after paying the counselling fee of 110000 rs after getting confirmed seat at ktr srm . whether then only the admission will get confirmed.

see cutoff score differs every year, it depends on some of the determining factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream and so on. however as per previous years analysis and experts review you have fair chances to secure eee stream at srm chennai

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure for the college is really good, we had separate buildings for each of the branches , and great laboratories for hands on experience. The university also offers grounds and sports arenas for extracurricular activities.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is a mix of scale and maintenance issues. While the campus is vast, the labs often have outdated hardware that struggles with resource-heavy AI/ML workloads. Classroom facilities like Wi-Fi are inconsistent, which is frustrating for a CS student. The sports facilities exist but are often overcrowded. While the campus looks good on paper, the day-to-day utility of the labs and the hygiene of common living spaces need significant improvement to match the "premier" branding.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is quite good and supports a comfortable learning environment. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with basic digital facilities like projectors and smart boards. Laboratories have sufficient equipment for practical sessions, although some systems could be upgraded. The library is well maintained, has a good collection of academic books, and provides a quiet space for self-study. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, though connectivity may fluctuate at times.
