see you have got a excellent opportunity for studying b.tech, srm university is best and compare to similar like amrita. srm comes under top university of the country among other private institute. since you have got 100% fees waiver I think this is a great opportunity and you should not let it go. srm university has excellent infrastructure, lab facility, tech fest to bring young talented minds.            BASED on students review the college placement is similar to amrita, the average package offers is 3.9 lpa. the highest package offered is 16 lpa as per past years trend. among others batches Computer science has best placement record.

however considering all the options I prefer to srm university and you should take admission as well.

I am not 100 percent sure but you can try for it if it doesn't work then till last round you will definitely get it..

If you are talking about engineering courses then SRM KattanKulathar is better in terms of placement,Infrastructures and faculties.Highest salary packaged was about 22.5 LPA by TCS.Almost every interested students gets placements and the faculties are quite good,helpful and senior.The infrastructure is also quite good here with all basic amenities of clean classrooms and modern labs.

The counselling rounds conducted by srm institute of science and technology are for alloting a seat in a particular branch.

So in this message from srm, they are saying that you have not got a seat in this round and in next round you can make changes to the choices you filled for getting a seat in the college.
