In my opinion I would say choose SRM KTR.

VIT Bhopal is a relatively new campus and the faculty members, facilities aren't that great. You would get a lot less exposure than what you would have gotten otherwise in VIT Vellore or Chennai.

SRM KTR being a older campus has better established alumni network, faculties and facilities.

Get ECE in SRM KTR and do courses and Internships that align with your interests to get into the branch of your interest.

The brand value of college will definitely have an impact on the options that you get during and after your course .

As of now, The officials have not yet declared the dates for the Commencement of classes. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. The second round of phase three was concluded on July 30th 2022. It is expected that the officials will soon release the information regarding the classes. The authorities will release the SRMJEEE seat allotment result on the official website. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to accept the seat by making the payment of the required amount.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in SRM University Chennai is that candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50 percent marks and must have studied physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects in the last qualifying exam.

Respected sir/madam, the cutoff of Amrita is fairly high, for CSE in main campus you can expect it to hover around 96-97 percentile, so that is going to be very difficult to get. However you can get into core branches in Amrita.

Now coming to VIT/SRM

Neither of SRM and VIT accepts, both of them conduct their separate exams, SRMJEE and VITEEE respectively. However if someone is able to get 93+ percentile in mains, he is expected to clear them and secure admission without much difficulty, but if your son hasn't appeared for them there isn't anything that can be done about it right now. So maybe you should try to find the best college you can get into, and for that you can use the following tool

Hi,

I would suggest do your BTech first, then if you want to go for an MTech try to get into a top tier college or try in foreign universities.

Enrolling yourself into a 5 year long course right away, isn’t that great an option, because you may have a change of heart after your BTech.

So between BTech in ECE from SRM and integrated MTech from VIT, I’s say go for SRM. Apart from the wonderful infrastructure of the institution, ECE is a pretty great course in SRM, the placements are just as good as the ones that appear for CSE or IT courses, with the placement percentage this year (2022) going as high as 91%.

No! SRM does not accepts admission through JEE Main score. The University is having a separate entrance exam SRMJEEE for admission into various courses. To get admission into SRM you need to appear for SRMJEEE exam and then SERMJEEE counselling. SRM is not included in josaa counselling.

Placements: The placement is the primary benefit you will get at Chandigarh University. About 85% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Infrastructure: AC labs, Library, mess, Hostel, and laundry service are available. Labs are there for every course. More facilities include things like a playground, courts. Hostel food is very good, provided 3 times a day with snacks and canteen is available 24/7. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire campus.

Faculty: Every faculty is qualified and holds the degree of Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The teachers are pretty good, providing materials and meaning to their teachings. Every year students study engineering-related subjects and other subjects to help us further, for example, General aptitude, Foreign language.
