Dear Aspirant,

VIT Vellore and Chennai are far more better than VIT AP and VIT Bhopal. In my opinion, you should not take these colleges. The fee is on the higher side and the placement is not worth so much money. Also, you have taken admission in SRM Chennai. So, there is a backup college for you if you do not get any college through JEE. So, according to me, you should not go for VIT. It is more of a personal choice. Someone else might not like my idea. The end decision will be yours.

The percentile that you got in JEE is very good. You should focus on JEE Advance right now. Also, you can get many NITs at this percentile. You should also consider JEE counselling as an option. At this percentile, your rank should be somewhere around 32500.

LIST OF IIITs AT THIS RANK WITH CS BRANCH:

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani, West Bengal

Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam

Indian Institute of Information Technology Agartala

Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur

Indian Institute of Information Technology Una, Himachal Pradesh

You can also sit for CSAB counselling. There you can get Computer Science. You should also go for JAC counselling.

Placements of NITs and IIITs are far better than the placements of VIT. So, consider this answer as a suggestion and do fill the counsellings that I mentioned above.

Hello,

In such a low percentile it is not possible to get SRM University Chennai. I would suggest you to give entrance examination for SRM University conducted by him. If you can get under 10k rank in the entrance examination then you can easily get cse with specialisation branch.

However there are some conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hi,

If you want to do Btech in cs, then I suggest you go to MIT Manipal. The academics there are good. The environment there is also good, and the vibe is just unique. The colleges you mentioned above are also good, but Manipal is just the whole deal in one. I would suggest you go for it!

All the best!

Hi Aspirant,
Yes, you can get CSE in SRM university with a rank of 197.

All the best!

hlwo aspirant

hope you are doing well

see both the institute are good but when it comes to faculty members, buisness relationship then vit is the best option for the aspirant.

Amaravati. SRM is not that good when you even compare it to other branches of VIT. The best faculty is at VIT Ap, where there are more teachers with doctorates. The primary reason VIT Ap provides more CSE specialisation courses than other streams is because more faculty members specialise in CSE. For the greatest placements, VIT Ap also has partnerships with the best businesses. The annual tuition of $176,00 is cheap, as is the annual cost of 84,750 for housing. VIT focuses on all activities for students' overall development most of the time.

you should definitely go to Vellore Institute of technology over SRM, KTR. While choosing college several measures are kept in mind which include placements, ranking, coding culture, infrastructure and better return of investments. VIT edges over SRM in all the the parameters by a handsome margin except ROI because the the fees for Category 4 in VIT is around 4.5 lacs per annum while it is is 2.5 lacs per annum in SRM.Vellore institute of technology ranks 15 in nirf engineering rankings while that of SRM is 43. The the average package for Computer science and engineering at VIT is above 7 lacs per annum and that of SRM is around 4.5 to 5 lacsNow as its your career and its the most important, you should conduct a research by yourself and if you agree with my point of view then only rely on it else take the decision which will be the best for you according to yourself.
