Hello Aspirant,
Yes JIIT 128 is better than SRM Modinagar for CSE branch if you talk about only placements.
Though JIIT 128 is still a developing college in terms of infrastructure and facilities, I would still consider it better than SRM.
Reasons to choose JIIT 128:
All the best!!!!!
Hi,
Both these college ranking wise both are same approx.
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a Deemed University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and was established in the year 1984. The Institute is accredited ‘Grade A’ by NAAC and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), formerly known as SRM University, is one of the top-ranking universities in India.
When we compare it on placements wise there also both college are same. Approx avg package offered is 4-6 lacs per annum.
But when we compare it according infrastructure wise vit chennai is little bit better than srm.

Hello,
As you have mentioned that you have scored 89 percentile in JEE mains January, 2020. So, it might help you to get seat in any state government college or semi government college. But institutes like SRM and VIT declare their own admission process. It may be by taking an entrance exam. So you can prepare for it. However, there's still a chance left for jee mains. So you can focus upon there .
All the best.
Hello,
If you have qualified entrance exam and have good score then there is high possibility to get admission into SRM University. Cutoff will vary as per branch. For current year health crisis, it has highly effected education process. Due to this , there might be small to big change in the whole process and it will also effect cutoff range and it may not follow previous year trends.
Do check out for updated cutoff and apply accordingly for your interested branch option.
Hope it helps!
Dear Aspirant,
The food in the mess is average and you will find option for both North Indian and South Indian Food, but South Indian touch is there in all the food.
Moreover, there are a lot of canteens in the campus where you will find all type of food.
You will find students from all the corners of India and you will find enough number of North Indian students too.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hey,
I am a student of VIT university I found that there is no problem in the main campus of VIT for north Indians. Vit and SRM both are located in south and both are reputed colleges.
I think that you may not find problem as other students will also be from north side.

Hi Dev Bansal,
Amrita Vishwa Veedyapitham Banglore campus is an UGC, AICTE approved and NAAC accredited grade A college.
It offers B.Tech programs at the UG level. At the PG level, the campus offers M.Tech, MBA-MS collaborative program, M.Sc. and MA courses. The admission to B.Tech Courses are given based on AEEE examination conducted by Amrita. The basic eligibility criteria required for B.Tech is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 board examination with at least 60% marks and should have a valid AEEE score.
If you are interested in computer science, Amrita University’s Amritapuri campus is a good choice. The placement is good and there are many events for CSE. For more information on department of Computer Science Engineering at this college you can check the following link: https://www.amrita.edu/school/engineering/bengaluru/computer-science
SRM and Amrita offers extraordinary facilities and exposure for their students. Both belong to the country's best private engineering college. Almost they are equivalent to each other. You can think of yourself based on your factors to choose between the two.
All the best.
Hello Aspirant,
First of all congratulations on your results and best of luck for other results too ! So as you should know , seats as well as basic tuition fees of almost all colleges have been risen , including SRM .
As per the news , the tuition fees for Cat-A ( B.Tech in I.T ) is now 2.5 LPA from 2.15 LPA . Apart from this 20k of career development is a must . I think this 2.5 LPA includes this . The latter didn’t .
Hostel fees should be near 1.25 LPA for non-AC and AC is 2.80 LPA for Nelson Mandela .
All the best!!!!!!!
