Private, deemed-to-be-a-university SRM Institute of Science and Technology, formerly SRM University, provides a variety of undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral programmes on all of its campuses.

First-place finishers on all state and central boards are eligible for direct admission to SRM University as well as scholarships. Students with JEE Main scores below the top 1000 rank may also apply. Top scorers in the state of Tamil Nadu and athletes competing on the national or worldwide stage are also qualified for immediate admission.

Other than JEE : Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to B.Tech based on how well they performed in the university's SRMJEEE (UG) exam.

So, if your rank is below 1000 in JEE Main then you get direct admission to SRM otherwise you have to take SRMJEE exam to get admission.

A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.

The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.

As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.

Yes, you are allowed to bring it inside the grounds of the SRM Medical College, however I advise switching it off or keeping it on silent mode while in class.

Mobile phone use is not permitted within the library.

you should definitely go to Vellore Institute of technology over SRM, KTR. While choosing college several measures are kept in mind which include placements, ranking, coding culture, infrastructure and better return of investments. VIT edges over SRM in all the the parameters by a handsome margin except ROI because the the fees for Category 4 in VIT is around 4.5 lacs per annum while it is is 2.5 lacs per annum in SRM.

Vellore institute of technology ranks 15 in nirf engineering rankings while that of SRM is 43. The the average package for Computer science and engineering at VIT is above 7 lacs per annum and that of SRM is around 4.5 to 5 lacs

Almost all of the major firms visit the university, which results in good placements for the CSE department. For the CSE department, faculty is superior.

For placements, SRM receives a lot of business. SRM promises placements at 100%. Businesses like Amazon, Google, Cisco, SAP Labs, and others visit this place. The standard package is 5 LPA. 39 LPA is the highest compensation. Many pupils were timed as system administrators.

There are no openings since, as you are aware, SRMJEEE phases 1 and 2 have already been completed and the maximum number of seats have been filled. You obtained a respectable ranking.

Candidates for this job in SRMJEEE stage 2 have been offered a CSE seat at the kattankulathur campus, however there aren't any seats available, therefore you won't be able to select a branch or campus there.

Since there are no CSE positions available at the Kattankulathur campus and the option has been eliminated from SRMJEEE phase 2 round 2 counselling, you are aware that SRMJEEE has three phases and that the greatest number of seats for CSE will be filled through SRMJEEE phase 2 counselling. Due to the fact that all available seats have been filled, you will not be able to enrol in CSE at the Kattankulathur campus through SRMJEEE phase 3 counselling if you have this rank.

You can do the following if you forgot your exam center location filled during registration.

• Observe the admit card thoroughly both from front and back.
• If not mentioned anywhere, try to login to the organization portal with your credentials. It should be mentioned in your details.
• If not mentioned, then it might be a fault somewhere. You can try to reach your friends and classmates who are giving the same exam, if facing the same issue.
• Finally, you need to immediately call there helpline to fix the bug and to fetch your center details as soon as possible. They will help you dedicated to their system.
