The basic eligibility criteria for B.Optom. course (3yrs.+ 1 yr. internship) in SRM Institute of Science and Technology is -

The candidate must have H.S.C / (+2) or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and any one from Mathematics / Biology / Botany and Zoology with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Yes, to pursue this course, you will have to appear in a Computer Based Test i.e. SRMJEEH-UG, conducted by the University. The test is of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration and consists of total 125 marks. Questions from Physics(35 questions), Chemistry(35), Biology(40), English(5) and Aptitude (10) will come.

Bachelor in Optimetry is a 4 year long undergraduate course including a one year of internship in clinical experience. actually there is no entrance examination for this course in SRM . Candidate just have to apply through online and then go for a personal interview. hope this will help you

as per the official website information srm trichy science and arts college  has b.sc courses on following disciplines,

bsc in computer science

bsc in mathematics

bsc in hotel management and catering science.

srm trichy medical college offers . B.Sc in  Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology.

however fees for management quota is varies time to time and it depends on the college authority. I suggest you to directly contact with college administration officials.

To get into SRM you have to clear either of the exams, jee mains or srmjee, and both the exam forms have been out and have been filled hence this year you can't apply for srm admission, kindly try it next year.

For BSC agriculture, there is no entrance test in SRM University. Eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.

1. Candidates will be called for counseling based on the fulfilling requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Candidates can choose their program
   • a. fulfilling the eligibility criteria and
   • b. subject to the availability of seats at that point of time.
3. Upon selection of programme, tuition fees, and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counseling
4. Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate's admission

The prestigious SRM University conducts SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) for granting admissions in undergraduate engineering courses. It gives an opportunity to seek admission in its four campuses -Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Ramapuram Part- Vadapalani and NCR Ghaziabad. Every year lakhs of students compete for 7,000 seats available in these four campuses.The admission is done on the basis of performance in entrance exam. The merit list is prepared and the counselling schedule is declared.

The cutoff ranks for different courses as well as different campuses is quite different. It all depends on the no. of students giving the exam and the difficulty of the exam. You should get a rank under 5k to get the best campus. you can also get other campus for a rank around 30-40k. Try to score 140+ out of 315.It also depends on the course you want.
