SRM University Chennai All Questions

As you are asking this question, I assume that you are at least have basic information about these 3 Institutions. All the 3 institutes are emerging faster and being considered as one of the top private institutions in the country. Here, you have not mentioned that which program you actually want to get admission in. However, I am going to give you an honest review of all these 3 institutes which might help you to make the final decision of taking admission. First of all,

Vellore Institute Of Technology (VIT) University, Vellore

Faculty: After reading a number of reviews of the candidates who have studied or still studying in the VIT campuses, I can say that the college faculty is really good as they all are Ph.D. scholars. All the 3 campuses of VIT are very clean and hygienic and hostel and mess are also very satisfying.

Fee Structure: Fee structure of the programs offered by VIT campuses is a little high. For example, the 1-year fee of B.Tech program is around 2 lakh. If the economic status of your family is good then you can opt VIT.

Placement Record: After reading the reviews and went through the official placement brochure, I can say placements at VIT are good. Over 90 percent of students of B.Tech programs get placed. However, the placement record of other programs is not excellent. In B.Tech. programs, the students are provided. The VIT institutes are establishing very good relations with industry so that many big MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, D Shaw, Paypal come for placing the students. The student of VIT is offered jobs with a handsome amount of annual salary package.

Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC)

Faculty: Faculty at Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) will make you say wow and feel very satisfied. MEC's faculty is a mix of accomplished Indian and International academicians, all Ph.D., with a high degree of emphasis on research.

Fee Structure: Fee structure of MEC is higher than VIT and Manipal Institute of Technology. For example, the total fee of the B.Tech program at MEC is around 24 Lakh.

Placement Record: Placement record of MEC is really very impressive as the students have been being offered a maximum of Rs 30 lakh package. The institutes have been trying the best to make industrial relations with big companies of the country which is resulting a very satisfying placement record of the institute.

Above, I have mentioned the basic parameters of the Vellore Institute of Technology and Mahindra Ecole Centrale. Overall, in my opinion, Mahindra Ecole Centrale is best for you if you can afford the program fee. Though the fee structure of programs offered at MEC is higher than VIT and Manipal, I would suggest you opt MEC and I am going to give you the valid reasons below in support of my suggestions.

Both colleges are very good in their respective segments. VIT is well known college so is the SRM and both have very good infrastructure, education and placement for IT students. SRM fee can be little bit high, and in SRM Only one of their campus is good than the other 2 in Chennai. VIT is also well known can be compared with the college. You can choose either of two both are best on their respective field, VIT is little much better, SRM has more name thats it.

In COMEDK last year i.e. 2k19 around 55000-58000
candidates appeared for exam.
In SRM more then 1.5 lakh candidates appeared for exam in 2k19.
In VIT around 2.12 lakh candidates appeared for exam.
In BITSAT around 2 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.

SRM college is totally having six campuses, three in Tamilnadu state, one in Amaravati of Andhra Pradesh,one in NCR Delhi and One in Sikkim.

SRM's B.Tech entrance examination test is called SRMJEE. SRMJEE is not a very tough exam and it is comparatively easy with respect to JEE Mains, Advanced and even BITSAT, but there's still high competition so things shouldn't be take for granted.

Tips to study -

• First of all, take a look at the syllabus that is given to you in the  SRM prospectus. Most of it, would be the same as your class 11 and 12 PCM syllabus. If you are a CBSE student, you will find that they are exactly the same topics as in the NCERTs.
• The main objective while studying should be to clear all your basic concepts as the questions will test your basic conceptual knowledge.
• Practice JEE Mains and NCERT level numericals all the subjects (PCM).
• Last, but not the least, solve sample papers and previous year questions for a better understanding.

SRM institute of science and technology,chennai offers more degree course . Which includes CSE also .
Now if get in the college through the management quota per year your course fee will be 3.5 lakhs and if you go through entrance examination and get merit your average fee will be 2 to 2.5 lakhs

The admission in SRM Chennai is done on the basis of SRMJEE which is conducted in the month of May. You can fetch a seat in any of the SRM campuses through SRMJEE. For computer Science, you only need a rank under AIR 10,000 in SRMJEE. The cut-off varies for other branches as well. Good luck.

For filling up the form for SRM you just have to visit the SRM official website and then just you have to click apply and then fill up the form and submit the fees.

Both are good and have good performance in Placement activities. It improves every year.  VIT  has good reviews from the students related to the facilities and services provided by the college. Faculties are also good.

SRM institute of Science and technology is a top college and mostly considered due to placement performance of the college.

The average placement salary will be 6lpa. Both the colleges are top and high rated colleges and they try to improve every year.
