Yes with your current marks you are not eligible for JEE mains vitee WBJEE BITSAT etc examination. If you are going for NIOS on demand exam then it's better option but after result of on demand exam you can apply for them till then not. They all accept NIOS marksheet.

Yes there are high chances of getting CSE branch in Chennai campus.But there is only one factor that could lessen the chances and that is if all the seats of that branch is filled in 1st round itself.Then there would be no seat left.There should be no worries other than this as you have secured a very good rank.

In order to get admission in the prestigious SRM UNIVERSITY, you must have to appear for their entrance examination named SRMJEE which is conducted every year in various cities across India for admission to different streams in the university.

For majority of the programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) or authorized /statutory boards or agencies. For few programs, admission is done directly.

The main campus (kattankulathur ) itself is one of the best campuses of SRM university. It has a IT infrastructure, quality of education, large campus, good facilities etc.,

If you are not getting a seat in main campus then go for ramapuram campus or vadapalani campus they are ranked in number 2nd in the campuses list.

These two campuses gain well developed reputation and significance after main campus. So, choosing any of them among them will lead to a good decision.

SRM University offer Bachelor's of Arts (BA) and the duration of the course is three years.It is a degree course and it is not linked with civil service exam.The only thing is that to appear for UPSC Civil service exam you need to be a degree graduate.It is not a basic level course for civil service exam.

Between VIT and SRM you could choose for VIT any day.VIT has a good alumni network better career opportunities and better placement offer in Computer Science then SRM. Especially in computer science, the VIT has a great curriculum and great faculty members also.

SRM UNIVERSITY Chennai is a very good University. It offers many courses one of which is BBA after intermediate level . There is higher program of it MBA also available with good facilities infrastructure and packages. Placement record of this University is very good in last few years.

The college infrastructure I'll say its average because it's very far from Chennai city which is around 40-45 kms away. The buildings have very less lifts as per the total number of students they have.
