How is SRM Sonipat for CSE? Study, Faculty as well as placement wise.

SRM Sonepat was established five years ago.

So till now, placements are not upto the mark.till now they are pretty average .highest placement record till now is around 4-5 lacs. Placement cell is also not so useful. But placement ratio is slowly improving there is no industry exposure.

Teachers are good and supportive and teaching methods are designed in a way that even below average students can understand properly.

So till now placement records are not so good but it is expected to go up in coming years. Faculty is good but few teachers are not good.

But college is improving slowly and needs time to settle properly.

How many campuses are their for SRMJEE

SRM institute of technology and science is having six branches . Three branches in Tamil Nadu - Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani, one branch.is in amaravathi, one is in Sikkim , one is in ncr Delhi. SRM Institute of Science & Technology is a private college. Its is a deemed University.

I would like to hwlp you with your query buy you have not mentioned your category.However the cut off in 2018 for SRM UNIVERSITY for unreserved candidate was in between 691-119 marks and must secure 50th percentile and OBC/SC/ST candidates must secure in between 118-86 marks and 40th percentile. So see the following categories cut off which I have mentioned above. Cut off is subjected to change slightly.

Your Jee main rank is great and you can get admission into top nits. Nits are way more better than srm ap, pick nits.

My sister completed her 1st yr BTech cs from SRM .She wishes to get admission in BTech cs 2nd yr in other college.Maybe gov. Suggest a way.

Not possible , they have to again take admission in first year . If she cleared diploma then they may have a chance to get directly admission to second year.

Hello aspirant,

Well you would be able to get admission in chennai but only if you belong to some reserved category and you have a domicile certificate of tamil nadu or else it would be quite a difficult task for you.

And as far I know u need to score a minimum of 500 marks for admission in SRM university.

So I suggest you try for state quota.

Cut off for mechatronic engineering

Srm has many campuses among which the best one is SRM kattankulathur, Chennai. All the colleges have different cutoffs. As per my research, SRM ktr has the highest cutoff for b.tech in every branch and so for mechatronics as well . The cutoff is according to expert calculation and may vary marginally.

The cutoff ranks for mechatronics are as follows:

Srm, Chennai: 42000 should be the last closing rank.
Srm, Ramapuram : doesn't have this branch
Srm, vadapalani : doesn't have this branch
Srm, Amravati: doesn't have this branch

I have joined cse with (AI and ML) in srm ramapuram is it worth to study that course?Will I get a job with higher packages ?

Hi,

The course id really good with a lot of modern CS appliactions and reserach taking place in the above mentioned fields only.

You need to carry out a lot of side projects and do a lot of self study to bag a good placement as it is a very Niche field.

Faculty are okay and placements are too but it all depends on the effort you put in.

college campus is reall good and trees are very vey lushy . infrastructure is really good ac are installed in classes . road are newly made everything is available in ca,pus itself food is also medium , facilties are very proffesional ,food is good.

We have all the required lab facilities Libraries laboratories everything has the complete facility Very active extra curricular activity Of course the hostel is hygienic, but the food, quality is not the best
