I would suggest you to give MAT a shot again because at this percentile you can get a college but it will not be according to your expectations. As, most of the colleges accepting MAT scores set there cut off at 85+ percentile.

Also, you can give other exams as well by preparing better this time.

All the best! you can do this :)

yes with your percentile you can certainly get admission in both institutes, now it depends upon you which one do you want.

you should keep in mind the following things while decidng your college:-

  • fees
  • distance from your house(if you dont want a pg or hostel)
  • naac ratings of the college
  • placement ratio
  • student teacher relation(ask people studying in those college)

you can find all the above parameters easily on google, you can search them on careers360 as well.

all the best!

Hello!

The fee structure for SRM is 1,50,000-/p.a for B.Tech course. For a detailed information you can refer to the link

https://www.srmuniversity.ac.in/fee-structure-for-the-academic-year-2019-20/

SRM takes a total of Rs.250,000 as tuition fee if you get admission in KTR Campus, for Ramapuram its 20,0000, for VDP campus its around 180000, and for NCR it gets a total of 175,000.

Hi Dakshali,

No, In order to get admission at SRM University you must have to attend SRMJEE exam. They don't consider other exams.

Hello Shivam

I think Jaypee is better.

Being a University which does not disclose their marks, I don't expect much from SRM.

Coming to JAYPEE,it is quite a better college,as far as what I learned about it from my friends and reading reviews from its site. But the enterence exam is quite tough and at the same time they consider Jee mains marks.

so good luck.

Hello, joining college is your own choice. It can't be done on the basis of subjects. If you will pursue CSE or IT you will have AI and ML subjects in your course else you can learn them on your free time. Irrespective of any degree you take you can learn  these on your will.

Hello,

With your score, you do have a chance to end up with a CSE branch in MIT though there is a mark difference between your score and tge previous year's cut offs. You will be getting a mediocre branch in Anna University, Chennai. You have a high probability of you securing a seat in SSN College of Engineering, Anna University, Tiruchirapally with CSE seat.

The cut off rank for CSE in SRM college is 10000. So it is obvious that you'd not be securing a CSE. But, branches like ECE and EEE are still possible with your score.

Choose what you feel is better and work on yourself to find out what you're interested in.

Hope this helped you

Thank you and keep asking:)
