As from Srm main campus or  VIT main campus for Cse I will advise you to go for VIT vellore. 

As SRM is degarding it's value year by year   due to degrade in placements and other facilities.

So, I will advice you to go for VIT vellore and enjoy your college life there.

Yes , you can get admission in SRM kattankalathur campus since you have a very good SRMJEE rank. Aggregate score will be given a consideration but primarily they'll look on to your SRMJEE rank only and based on that seats will be provided.

First of all, computer science engineering has nothing to do with the campus or the college you are joining in. CSE is a stream in which you get to learn things that are currently being applied at industrial level and that can be learnt not only in college but also online.  If you are truly interested in your stream then you can study anywhere.

Both SRM and GITAM are good in terms of infrastructure, faculty, etc. But, what you need to take care of is the college fees, transportation facilities (if any), hostel and food. Keep these points in mind while you opt for the right college.
