Hey.

In NCR campus of SRM, the college doesn't offer you specialisation in a particular field of CS branch. If you are ok with it and can do by your own from coaching institutes, then it is well and good.

But if you want specialization, you can go for GLA university in Mathura. It is better than NCR colleges.

Cheers.

Hello!

Yes, you have a good chance of getting CS in main campus, but with specializations. Last years, closing ranks went upto 30,000 for CS, including specializtions. It also depends on the number of seats available during your counselling.

Good luck for your admission procedure!

Hello Shrey,

Yes, you can get EEE in main campus during counselling. SRM intake is indeed very high and if not EEE, you can even get Mechatronics, Civil etc. You counseeling call date will be published in their main site.

Hope that helps

Cheers mate

Dear aspirant....!!

The Truth is that in past years the placement in this field is getting low. No.of core companies visiting campus is also reducing. But still there are many other top companies visit the campus and they pick the best students out from the batch and they get placed. These top notch companies recruit only 2-5 students from 100 people appearing for that companies. Companies like L&T, hyundai, Hero, Royal Enfield, Saint Gobain, Titan etc. Come for internship or placements. If you have good technical knowledge with decent academics. There is higher chance that you get placed in a top notch companies.

The pay grade max a mechanical under grad can expect is 3.5 - 4 lacs p.a. Most mechanical under grad here get placed in IT companies rather than core. If there are 500 students in that nearly 100-150 odd students sit for IT companies and get placed with a payscale around 2.2 -2.5 lakh p.a.

Hope your query is solved!

All the best!
