SRM provides you with counselling date ,time and venue in your email. Also if mentioned your counselling will be done online so not need to come to the venue for the counselling you take admission sitting at your home and fees can also be paid online.

You can acquire a seat in all the branches except for CSE and IT as their cut off from previous years are 10000 and 23000. Due to the competition, there might be a fluctuation in the cut off ranks this year. As your rank is nearer to the closing

Analyzing the previous year's closing ranks, you can get CSE and ECE in Ramapuram, Sonipat, Ghaziabad, Vadapalani campuses.

Hey,

You would be acquiring a seat in all the branches except CSE, ECE, IT, Mechanical in the main campus as per previous year's closing ranks. There might be a little fluctuation in the cut offs when compared to other years due to the increase in competition.

As per the counselling norms,you have to study at the campus you choose during counselling.So,it would be difficult to choose Sonipat or Ghaaziabad and study in Chennai Main campus.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure for the college is really good, we had separate buildings for each of the branches , and great laboratories for hands on experience. The university also offers grounds and sports arenas for extracurricular activities.

Large-scale university with outdated tech and curriculum.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is a mix of scale and maintenance issues. While the campus is vast, the labs often have outdated hardware that struggles with resource-heavy AI/ML workloads. Classroom facilities like Wi-Fi are inconsistent, which is frustrating for a CS student. The sports facilities exist but are often overcrowded. While the campus looks good on paper, the day-to-day utility of the labs and the hygiene of common living spaces need significant improvement to match the "premier" branding.

College is quite good but there is too much competition

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is quite good and supports a comfortable learning environment. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with basic digital facilities like projectors and smart boards. Laboratories have sufficient equipment for practical sessions, although some systems could be upgraded. The library is well maintained, has a good collection of academic books, and provides a quiet space for self-study. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, though connectivity may fluctuate at times. Hostels and common areas are clean, and regular maintenance is carried out, making the overall infrastructure satisfactory.
