Is it worth spending more than 15 lacs on cse btech from Kiit as I have got 4200 rank in it? Or Should I think for Srm (32000)

I think you can't get any branch in SRM with this rank or if you can then you will have to pay 20 lakh fees for 4 years.

If you are rady to pay this much fee then you can surely join SRM or else you can switch

First of all Congratulations!!

You have secured a good rank in KIITEE exam. Though in the first round of counselling you are likely to get pure CSE branch but you may surely get branches like CSSE,CSIT,IT and other derivative branches of CSE.

You have very high chance to get Civil Engineering in main Campus i.e Chennai.

But not so very high chances for ECE and Mechanical Engineering.

If you are talking about main campus then sorry the closing rank for CSE is 10k and in BTech specializations are not give those are only in masters.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai has one of the most impressive campuses I've seen among private engineering colleges in India. The classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards and projectors, and the laboratories have modern equipment that is regularly maintained. The library has a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources — you can easily spend hours there. The Wi-Fi connectivity across campus is decent, though it can get slow during peak hours in the hostels. The annexure Campus is very Beautiful and it rarely hot there which will be a surprise because of people thinking that chennai is hot. The Main campus is also being renovated one by one and many Buildings are made for research.
