Admission to SRM university is done on the basis of ranks of candidate in the entyrance exam. You will have to qualify the entrance exam and meet the cutoff requirements for admission.

Affiliation is provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Regarding NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), it a body funded by UGC to accredit higher studies institutions in India. NAAC accredits the whole body as one and as SRM University's parent institute is SRMIST, hence it gets accredited.SRM Institute of Science and Technology, (formerly SRM University) has been recently accredited with the highest grade A++ by NAAC.

 The exam authorities have opened slot booking of SRMJEEE 2019 from April 10. You will be able to book their slots till April 22, 2019.

The SRMJEEE 2019 slot booking facility is available online, with slots being offered in first-come, first served basis. So if you have a preference for a particular slot must book your slots as early as possible; or else if slots get filled, you will have to settle for lesser preferred options.

You are allowed to choose up to three slots during SRMJEEE slot booking 2019 (SRM slot booking); the options should be entered in the order of priority.

For admission to B.Tech programmes offered by SRM University, SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE is conducted.

According to the eligibility criteria, candidates are required to have minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.  

Admission is done on the basis of rank of candidate in the entrance examination. Have you appeared for SRMJEEE?

Why only these three colleges? None of them is that good, do you think you don't deserve better? Apply to Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad. Compared to IBS' 1200 students, they have only 240 students, so great grooming provided to students. 

They have globally acclaimed faculty members, most of them from IIMs. the placement is 100% with many students getting 2-3 offers. The average package is much higher than all the colleges you mentioned, at INR 8 lacs per annum. So Woxsen is obviously a league apart from all these colleges.

If you think of PGDM, think Woxsen.

Dear Aspirant, to get into VIT and SRM university you need to give their entrance exams. VIT conducts VITEEE and SRM conducts SRMJEE every year. So you have to give these exams respectively to be eligible for their counseling process. After the results are out for these exams they would shortlist the students according to their ranks for various branches counseling process.

It is a college affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.
The ratings of this college in engineering is AAA+, and 200th NIRF Rank.
It is a privately owned college, with NAAC 'B' accreditation.
With a campus size of 8acres, and a total faculty of 264.

In this College, there are 120 seats in B.Tech Information Technology with a total fees of ₹ 1.80 lakhs.

And the median package for B.Tech candidates is ₹ 4.20 lakhs.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
This College is deemed to be university.
It has a private ownership, with NAAC 'A' accreditation, and UGC approval.
The college has got 36th NIRF Rank.
The campus size is of 200 acres, and a total faculty of 3272.

The course of your interest is offered in both NCR campus and Ramapuram campus (120 seats). The total fees is approximately ₹10 lakhs.

And the median package is ₹ 3.60 lakhs for engineering.

Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
The college is deemed to be University. Also, it has 18th NIRF Rank in Engineering. It has NAAC 'A' accreditation, and UGC approval.
It has a campus size of 250 acres, and a total faculty of 1720.

The total fee structure of B.Tech Information Technology is ₹ 6.95 lakhs.

The median package offered is ₹5.20 lakhs.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
This college is deemed to be University. It has a private ownership, with NAAC 'A' accreditation and UGC approval.
The University has 47th NIRF Ranking.
It has a campus size of 134 acres and a total of 775 faculty members.

B.Tech Information Technology is 4 year course, with a total fee structure of ₹ 11 lakhs and 120 seats Only.

The median package offered is ₹ 3.11 lakhs for B.Tech students.

Also, all the above mentioned colleges provide all the facilities required.

Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in SRMJEEE exam. There will be a deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer in  Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics while for Biology there will be a deduction of 0.7 marks for each incorrect answer.
