What is the cut off for bsc agriculture in VIT and SRM institute?Can a student with 84 percentage in CBSE get admission into that?

Dear Swetha,

You can apply for agriculture in VIT as the eligibility is 60% only in the 10+2 with PCMB/PCB/PCM or agriculture from any board.
You can apply because you have a very good result and based on your result they will prepare the merit list and call you for the counselling.

But for SRM you just have to have only 50% aggregate and after applying there is a national level entrance exam conducted by SRM you have to qualify that and after that, you will call for the admission if you fulfil all the criteria and also if they have seat.

Is there negative marking in SRM JEE exam?

This is the Current year (2019) Marking Scheme

Candidates will get 3 Marks for each correct answer in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Those who are applying for Bio-Technology will get 2.5 marks for each correct answer.
There is no negative marking.
Earlier, one mark was deducted for every wrong answer in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 0.7 Marks were deducted for the wrong answer in Biology. That rule has been scrapped off. Now there will be No negative marking.

what is the fees structure of b tech computer science in srm main campus

SRM is well known college in chennai.It is said to be better college (Don't compare it with IIT and NIT).Given below is the official site link:

My neet pg mark is 66600.My community is general.I am not able to register for round 1 counselling.I want to know the reason for that.

Try again...while putting all the info correctly as you've provided in the form fillup, and if still not accepted call the mcc for the same...
The last rank to get in SRM in previous year counselling probably in the 2nd round was 74068,(community medicine)...rest of the branches were taken within air 55000...you can try , though

Is SRM university worth to join for BALLB?

Hi Jasleen,

Yes its worth to join SRM university. Its great for BA LLB. SRM university have facility of hostel for both girls and boys, also it provide placements to student. so if you are willing to take admission in that than you are making right decision.

How much intermediate grade points should be to get seat in srm

For the different campus the eligibility criteria is different

Amravati : you need minimum 75%

For kattankulathur : minimum 60%

For sonepat; vadapalani; ramapuram: 50%minimum marks are required in intermediate

Actually no.the place where you get is based upon the rank you get.
But still if you get good score you can apply for counselling there itself and if get decent score then you will get automatically in amaravathi.
So,you need to be carefull during the time of counselling.

For SRM UNIVERSITY ,HARYANA Should I get 50%marks in each of PCM or total board percentage should be 50% to be eligible

Hello Abhijeet,

SRM University eligibility officially for 4 year and 5 year courses is as folows :-

For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
For Admission to Integrated courses, a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum marks of 50% in aggregate.

This means you need aggregate of 50%in PCM not mandatory to be in each subject.

Vit and srm are incloud in top 20 engineering college of india?

Hii Tirth,

yes VIT comes under top 20 Engineering college of India.

but SRM doesn't.

The NIRF(National Institutional Ranking Framework.) of VIT is 16.

The NIRF(National Institutional Ranking Framework.) of SRM is 46.

The srm College infrastructure is very clean and awesome. One of the moments I had in this campus. The infrastructure will give positive vibes and great scenerio. The infrastructure is also maintained neatly and clean.

A better institution for the engineering field for us.
