    Yes its worth to join SRM university. Its great for BA LLB. SRM university have facility of hostel for both girls and boys, also it provide placements to student. so if you are willing to take admission in that than you are making right decision.

    For the different campus the eligibility criteria is different 

    Amravati : you need minimum 75%

    For kattankulathur : minimum 60%

    For sonepat; vadapalani; ramapuram: 50%minimum marks are required in intermediate

    Actually no.the place where you get is based upon the rank you get.
    But still if you get good score you can apply for counselling there itself and if get decent score then you will get automatically in amaravathi.
    So,you need to be carefull during the time of counselling.

    SRM University eligibility officially for 4 year and 5 year courses is as folows :-

    • For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
    • For Admission to Integrated courses,

    yes VIT comes under top 20 Engineering college of India.

    but SRM doesn't.

    The NIRF(National Institutional Ranking Framework.) of VIT is 16.

    The NIRF(National Institutional Ranking Framework.) of SRM is 46.

    College Infrastructure

    Infrastructure for the college is really good, we had separate buildings for each of the branches , and great laboratories for hands on experience. The university also offers grounds and sports arenas for extracurricular activities.

    The infrastructure is a mix of scale and maintenance issues. While the campus is vast, the labs often have outdated hardware that struggles with resource-heavy AI/ML workloads. Classroom facilities like Wi-Fi are inconsistent, which is frustrating for a CS student. The sports facilities exist but are often overcrowded. While the campus looks good on paper, the day-to-day utility of the labs and the hygiene of common living spaces need significant improvement to match the "premier" branding.
