Well i can answer this question quite because i have been then the part of VIT. You are not eligible for VITEEE if you don't have Maths as your 3rd Subject because Maths is asked in the entrance examination not biology and same goes with SRM.

There is a provision for that, not so sure. Better check the university website for further details but you get lateral entry only after the first year, i.e second year onwards.

yes, you can get the mentioned colleges with 153 score in NMAT but we would suggest you to go for better colleges with better padagogy and placements. You can try for another year and get better score in CAT/XAT/NMAT to get admission in better colleges as the colleges you asked

Each subjects have 35 questions , totally -140

Total marks 315.

To join Genetic engineering in SRM university , you have to take SRMJEE(UG) , and you have to attempt physics, chemistry, biology specifically. Whereas you can Also join through direct admissions.
