With 14000 rank in SRM you won't be eligible for a merit seat in the main branch. But if you are really keen on joining SRM then probably you should try joining through the management quota.

Thank you for connecting to careers360.com . The recent trends of the cutoffs shoe that the CSE branch cutoff for the main branch of SRM is nearly 10k . so there's no point of discussion on this topic . but you can get the same course at ramanapur campus

See branches and seats will depend upon vacancy. Sometimes vacancies occur even later so this is something that one cant say or predict. I would advise, you fill in your preferences and go by that order rather than choose what you think or what someone says you will get.
