Dear Aspirant,

See this can be totally be your choice as per the choosing the college. But I would prefer that college which is the most profitable to me and most importantly the ROI factor of the colleges.

Talking at first about srm chennai mechanical branch, it is not at all advisable to go with core branch in these private colleges because by spending 18L you would end up landing into some bulk hiring companies like tcs,Infosys, cognizant and other parallel ones. So, this is a total no for me.

Next is vit bhopal cse, this is a newer one among the other vit campuses and also it's not the main campus. You can opt for it but again it is always better to choose the main campus.

Next is kiits Bhuvaneshwar, the total four cost would be around 16-18L and it will be a better option for you as the ROI factor is also good if compared to other colleges. And also the branch reviews are good in terms of faculty members and placement statistics.

Dear aspirant,

Yes ,both the colleges that is SRM University and kiits Bhuvaneshwar offers their students to study one complete semester in abroad through student exchange programme.

In each of the universities there is some specific criteria which is needed to be fulfilled by the student in order to get selected for the student exchange programme

Dear aspirant,

Both the universities that is SRM ktr cse or kiit cse has equal opportunities in terms of foreign opportunities.

And as cse branch is compared , one can't create any difference every other renowned private college has good placements in the cse branch. Various companies do come for placements and maximum of the cse branch students gets placed whether it's kiit or SRM.

But if I had to choose one, I would consider only on the basis of location. SRM is situated in Chennai which is south so for it professionals you would perfectly fit there and as kiit bhuvaneshwar is in eastern site. So, there are more core companies situated in that area rather than it hubs.

Hello Aspirant

For SRM KTR, according to previous year's cutoff, the closing rank for IT branch was around 21000 and the closing rank for Electronics and communication Engineering was around 26000-27000. So with your rank of 15686 in SRMJEE, you can get any of the branches except CSE. As per your interest, since you wanted to go into IT branch, I would suggest you to try for IT branch. You still have chances to get into IT branch with your rank. If the round 1 session was ended just few ranks before yours, then you have high chances to get IT branch. You can keep ECE as your second preference.
Wisely choose the field you want to get into.

Good Luck

Hello,

Every University offers a second round of counselling on two basis,

1) if some candidates have withdrawn their admission and their seats can be offered to other candidates.

2) To fill out the leftover seats from the leftover respective branches.

So, if we take both the scenario then filling your preference would be good same as the previous one , that might lead you to your favoured campus.

Hope this helps,

Dear Aspirant,

In my opinion you should wait for the other rounds as you may grab CSE with some specific specialization like cyber security or gaming. No matter what happens you should definitely keep an eye on other campuses as well. You want to widen your options. I think you might get your branch, atleast I wish.
Other than that you should definitely give other entrance exams like COMEDK, VITEEE etc.

Hope this Helps!
Good Luck
