Hi Jigisha!
Congratulations for securing both good colleges!
If you are getting your desired seat or any core branch in SRM , Chennai (main campus - KTR campus) then I would suggest you to choose it. And if you are not getting any core branch such as CSE, IT, ECE etc in SRM main campus, but getting the desired seat in KIIT, opt KIIT University.
Choose wisely!
Thankyou!
Greetings of the day dear Sumanth
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your SRMJEEE Examination. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is getting highly tough these days as the demand is very much. But, with a rank around 1600, you can very easily secure a CSE seat in SRM KTR Campus as the closing rank was around 9,500 - 10,500 for CSE core branch in SRMJEEE 2016. So, just apply to their counselling process and secure a seat easily. The tution fees for CSE programs in SRM is around 1.78 - 2.31 Lakhs per year.

Hello candidate,
If you have appeared for the SRM joint entrance examination of the SRM JEE examination and have got your results and are allowed to take part in counselling rounds then your provided with the option to fill your log choices in a priority order so that the council can decide you a perfect sheet in any of the colleges offering admissions.
The dates for the choice filling options are also released by the council itself and students have to fill up their choices and submit it very carefully because once submitted the log choices and preference options cannot be changed, thereafter.
Hope you got my point.
If you have any further queries feel free to post it here!!
Hi Aspirant,
To get below 100 rank in SRM JEEE 2021,you will have to score above 110 marks(out of 125) most likely. However these are all based on previous year analysis. So it may be noted that SRM University cutoff 2021 shall vary for various categories of candidates, programmes and campuses. There are several deciding factors for SRMJEEE 2021 cutoff like difficulty level of SRMJEEE exam, seat availability, etc.
Refer the link below for more information on SRM JEEE 2021 cutoff,

Helo aspirant,
No ,there is no chance to get CSE branch for the rank 17735 .The cutoff changes every year depending on the no.of candidates appeared for the exam. And you may get CSE general there is 50% chance so try it dont be disappointed if not try for jee main and try other colleges according to your IPE marks and jee main percentile. But you may have a less chance. Best of luck.
Hope this will be helpful for you.
