Dear Prerna,

You have achieved a very decent rank to get mostly every branch in SRM main campus except CSE because you need to some under 10K rank for CSE. For the rank of 17258 you can get IT preferably, they need under 20K rank for this branch or you can get any like ECE, ME, SE, CE, Bio Medical, Mechatronics.

So if you want Mechatronics then there is 100% chance that you will get that, still if you have some query please drop your message in the reply box.

Best of Luck!!!

Hello Aspirant,

SRM University, kattankulathur, Chennai is a very reputed college with NAAC A++ grade. BSc cardiovascular technology in SRM has total fee of INR 5.1 Lakhs. BSc cardiovascular technology is a four years long full time undergraduate course. The eligibility criteria for BSc cardiovascular technology is a minimum of 50% marks aggregate for your 10+2 level education with physics, chemistry and mathematics/ biology from a recognized board of education. There are only 25 seats available for this course in this institute and entry is merit based. Hope this helps and Good luck

Dear Aspirant,

To grab CSE you need much lower rank than you have got. Cut throat competition prevails these days for grabbing this branch. In my opinion you won't get the branch. Still, you can get other branches but I suggest if you are passionate towards computer science you should pursue this only. There are many other entrance exams waiting to be aced by you. Go get it!

Hope this Helps!
Good Luck

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

  • Infrastructure
  • Curriculum
  • Faculties
  • Placement

As you both the universities are the chosen best private institution in India. Thus comparing them can be hard until and unless you analyze the facts in details.

By following the official website of both the colleges, I would say SRM chennai will be better for you not only for placements but also for the other co parameters. The curriculum is very well balanced in SRM and you get a scope to learn academic skills as well as industrial skills. Also the teachers are highly involved in research which is always a positive sign for any student of science. Also the placement rates are around 88% which is a very decent figure and obviously greater than the figures of MIT.

The average package offered is around Rs. 6LPA which varies from courses to courses.

Greetings dear aspirant

Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your SRMJEEE Examination. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is getting highly tough these days as the demand is very much. But, with a rank around 7400, you can secure a CSE seat with AI and ML in SRM KTR Campus as the closing rank was around 9,500 - 10,500 for CSE core branch in SRMJEEE 2016. So, just apply to their counselling process and secure a seat easily.
