SRM University Chennai All Questions

Dear student,

The minimum requirement to get a CSE seat in SRM is to clear the mark range of 100+ or you are coming under the rank of 10K then also you can get CSE here.

As your rank is 10190 so their is chance that you can get CSE here but not at the surety. IT is still the option you can take and you can get IT very easily as students who comes under 20K are eligible to take CSE. But at this time everything is not clear so it will be more better if you take part in counselling and try hard to get CSE.

Based on the previous years records, you have chances to get Information technology in Chennai campus, CSE in Ramapuram campus, CSE in Vadapalani campus, CSE in Ghaziabad campus and CSE in Sonepat campus. But yuou have quite low chances to get CSE in main campus.

The branches which you can get are: CSE in Chennai Campus, CSE in ramapuram campus, basically you might get CSE in almost all the campus as per the previosu years records.

The main campus of SRM college - Kattankulathur  is considered as the best campus among other campuses of the college in terms of infrastructure, placements and facilities. All the fests, cultural events or any other programs are conducted/organized in this campus only. To attend all these events, students of other campuses need to visit the Kattankulathur (main) campus. Other than this, Amravati campus also provides good facilities with campus area being 200 acres.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology is a  private deemed to be university located in kattankulathur, Chennai. It was established way back in 1985 and is famous for the engineering courses it offers. The University ranks 43rd in terms of nirf engineering rankings 2020. The placement scenario here is quite decent with 85 to 90% records and an average package of 4.5 lacs.

If you are quite confident of scoring good in JEE mains, then you should put it off from the considerations. You can even take admission and later let it go if you obtain a better choice.

according to career360 VIT Vellore campus got 4.3 rating out of 5. SRM got 4.1 rating out of 5. Both are good college with good placements results and good infrastructure. Based on your convenience you can choose. Both are good choice you won't have any regrets in future.

Your marks are not enough to get you a seat in Manipal main campus IT branch. IT and CSE are the branches which have high demand so the competition is tough. You need minimum 175+ marks approximately to grab IT branch. Assuming that you can get IT branch in SRM Main Campus, I would suggest you to go for it, instead of compromising your desired branch.

SRM University will be a better option because of multiple reasons namely, good infrastructure, decent faculty and research opportunities and exposure, good placements and good brand name among private institutions in India. Also the college focuses on inviting decent companies for the placement drive and the return of investment is good enough for students who study well and perform good academically.
