B.Tech- Civil Engineering with specialization in smart cities and management (Industry Partners ( CADD Centre ) 

Civil engineering is all about finding solutions to help shape a perfect world around us and it is not restricted to building structures that inspire awe. Let’s imagine a modern city in 2021. It is a smart city. Urban planning, ecology, and information technology reach into every neighborhood, to improve citizens’ quality of life.

• The aim of this program is to respond to the worldwide demand for Smart City planner, Site engineers, Smart Structure Designer and managers who have a sound knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to the complex situations prevailing within the Smart Cities and Management.
• Aims to produce graduates with expertise in the techniques and equipment employed, and an understanding of the underlying physical, physiological, Environment, and economic factors.

• Curriculum Highlights

  The curriculum has been design in collaboration with industries CADD Centre and experts’ academia in the relevant field.

  In order to achieve a specialization in the area of Smart Cities and management at the undergraduate level, the following courses are strongly recommending:

  i. Adequate water supply,

  ii. Assured electricity supply,

  iii. Sanitation, including solid waste management,

  iv. Efficient urban mobility and public transport,

  v. Affordable housing, especially for the poor,

  vi. Robust IT connectivity and digitalization,

  vii. Good governance, especially e-Governance and citizen participation,

  viii. Sustainable environment,

  ix. safety and security of citizens, particularly women, children and the elderly,

  x. health and education.
