Both, the undergraduate and postgraduate syllabuses have been designed and structured keeping in mind the requirements of different competitive exams like GATE and NET. The department utilizes diverse methods of teaching like board work, power point presentations, seminars, group discussions, question answer sessions and review writings to provide a holistic approach to teaching. In addition, the department also organizes seminars/conferences and industrial visits frequently so that the students can obtain a better understanding and relevance of the subjects being taught.
