Very good infrastructure from the outside, the campus is very big and very lengthy. In order to get to a particular department, you've to walk a lot. However, the classrooms are outdated and very dirty, not well maintained.

Academics are up to the mark, unlike most of the other colleges in this city. The university of burdwan is a big brand which attracts a lot of good students if not brilliant. Hence, the professors are well educated and damn well in their jobs.

This is the core problem of this university, the placement cell exists but feels like non existent to me, because of it's weak ties with corporate entities. However, they are working on it. But still it's pretty poor.

If you come here just for the degree and the brand value then it's very much value for money, but if you come here for getting placed, then you're at the wrong place. Your chances of getting placed from here are as low as Tottenham winning the premier league.

Pretty good i would say, because they have accomplished a pretty well engaging campus life for the students, good at night times in the hostels due to volleyball courts and other sports facilities. Quite cool.

The college ensures a safe and disciplined environment with proper security measures.

As a Biotechnology student, I find the curriculum comprehensive and well-structured, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive, making it easier for students to understand complex topics. They encourage active participation in class discussions and are always willing to clarify doubts. The teaching methodology includes classroom lectures, laboratory practicals, seminars, presentations, and assignment-based learning, which helps develop both academic knowledge and practical skills. Regular internal assessments, practical examinations, and interactive sessions ensure continuous learning and preparation for university examinations. The Biotechnology department provides adequate laboratory exposure, allowing students to gain hands-on experience with essential techniques and instruments. However, introducing more advanced laboratory equipment, research-oriented projects, industrial visits, workshops, and guest lectures by experts would further enhance students' practical knowledge and industry readiness.

For Biotechnology students, placement opportunities are available, but they are comparatively limited when compared with fields such as engineering or management. Many students prefer pursuing higher studies, research, or competitive examinations to expand their career prospects. To further improve placements, the college could strengthen its collaborations with biotechnology companies, research laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and healthcare organizations. It costs , 2 lakh and 50 thousand for my entire course. So feel like i am getting my money 's worth.

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure and equipments with proper laboratory equipments. Our classrooms and the whole area is very clean and the campus has lots of greenery but there are some network issues in our college campus. And the living spaces are clean whereas the food quality at canteen is not good at all.

Our college has a well equipped library and and a e-resource room. It has a good discipline and the professors are a bit strict bit they are friendly at times. It has a well equipped laboratory with all the essentials. And the curriculum followed is quite updated and they even prepare us for the ppt presentation

I don't really know much about the college placements since I'm very new. I'm just at the 2md semester of my college but I have heard that they have good placement for the students of BBA and B.COM whereas the other departments don't have that much.

Umm overall the whole course costs around 2.7- 3 lakhs. And yes it's value for money because the faculty is good enough that you won't need any private tutor besides the college and the laboratory has the modern equipments.

Its good... There are lots of functions which will let you explore your extra curricular activities. And it won't harm your studies or anything and you can make lots of friends here. The faculty and the seniors are really supportive.

The college has the perfect infrastructure that are needed with large spacious classrooms with good equipped laboratories and proper projector for presenting topics. The campus is neat and clean with plants everywhere getting fresh air .The classroom are spacious with suitable availability of benches and our libraries has useful books needed for our future and subject books too. The canteen prefer food in affordable price and the food is fresh and hygienic and the hostel too has facilities needed for the students with clean rooms .

Currently I'm studying Biotechnology for improving my practical experience in the instruments of our laboratory and also have a well gained knowledge about the subjects. The faculties are always supportive and helps us whenever we have any query for a topic . The way of explaining the topics and giving notes for each wasn't easy to manage but they makes sure that students get the right knowledge about the subjects. The curriculum is satisfactory and helps in improving better future for the students.

Placement offers are satisfied although many students choose another field after completing graduation and some choose to give competitive examinations so placement may depend on the students or may not but I think there should be some improvement in the placement cell.

Per year my course cost 4150 but I think that they should have air conditioned laboratories in biotech . I don't really think that our fees are getting wasted as they use the money in many good purpose too but they should stop taking extra money for attendance fine as many may have problem to attend regular classes so the attendance fine is getting wasted for sure .

The campus life is very clean and friendly the professors are good and supportive in every field. Collge organises many seminar,events that helps the students to develop their skills apart from academics the campus offers environment friendly and balanced nature for both studies and extracurricular activities. The staff are always there whenever we are in any issue . The location is safe and can handle emergencies as beside our College there is an area full of police office so I think it's a very safe place for anyone

College is good . Campus is grenny and huge , Infrastructure is well maintained. Faculty members and staffs are good . Library is well managed. Canteen is well . Roads are good . Parking spot is good for both cycle and bike .

I'm pursuing Biotechnology Hons. It's a good course for future. Faculty members are extremely helpful, they help me a lot in academics or any kind knowledge or suggestions. Library is quite good , I get all kind of books for my academics

For the help of placement cell of my college. It actually help me found out placement after hons. College faculty and professors suggestions help us to placement. Each department has each specific faculty members in the placement cell.

After getting all facilities, I think it value for money.

The college has smart classrooms and projectors that are used while teaching. The class rooms are spacious and airy. The library is well furnished. The laboratory has basic instruments that are required. Hostel facilities are available only for boys. The indoor sports room is well maintained. Every floor has free WiFi connection.

As a student of Biotechnology we are provided hands on experience on various laboratory techniques. The faculty are quite friendly and experienced with good teaching skills. The college follows NEP 2020 curriculum which mandates research project in the eighth semester and internships.

Not quite aware of the placement cell of the college and how it helps the students. Not heard of any students placed either. It would be better is some more information is given to the students regarding this aspect.

Monthly fees is around Rs 4100.

A well maintained, clean and green college campus. Indoor sports room space for Table Tennis. There is a basketball court and badminton court. The playground is used for playing cricket and football. Students can engage in cultural activities like singing and dancing. Teachers and support staff are quite helpful. The Women Protection Cell of college ensures campus safety for female students. The Anti-Ragging committee is very active and spreads awareness about ragging.

Our laboratories have all necessary equipments needed for practical and most of them are well maintained except a few microscope or pipets and I thing our college does the best is its cleanliness, all the classrooms, laboratories, offices everything is very clean and we have very good higienic food in our canteen.

We have very good faculty members. Every professors are very helpful and professional. Every subject have their own respective teachers and they all help us a lot. I loved Biology that's why I chose this subject and everything is updated on time and they make us job ready.

Our college has good quality placements... Most of the students after pursuing BSC are in good places now either they are doing research or MBA and are now job owners... Our college was very supportive especially the teachers and good amount of starting salary was offered to te students.

Our course costs almost less than 1 lakh per year... Since I'm from science background and w have to use te laboratories... I think it's worth it because we get to practice our skills here and be job ready for our future.

Our college has a lot of greenery... Therr are a lot of plants and every plant has their name's attached to it. We have a herbal and a geographical garden... As lovely it is it gets quite scary when we spot a snake during rainy season..Otherwise all good. Our college is placed in a very good location.. Easy to travel amd there is nearby hospitals and police station as well... Yes it can handle emergencies.

Nothing much... But overall our college is very interesting... From academical side as well as all the fun sides too... We have 3 main functions 1. EXPLORE(departmenal competition)... 2. EXTRON(annual function )... 3. XAV SPORTS (sports days) and many other overall very interesting... We have workshops... Field works... Industrial outings... We can lean so much.... ????

The infrastructure was quite good and peaceful, liked the overall area of the campus which is also very green . The labs were also good and has all the required instruments and machines . The classes were also good

The academic was fine enough the syllabus was also not that much vast and can be easily understandable and practical. The faculty were also very friendly and approachable which helped in the academic very much

The placement were good from our college maximum number of students get placed everytime and get good packages top which was very much helpful from the college and the placement team is also very good .

The campus is good and very much nature friendly so that in free time we can easily roam for some time and we have a good canteen there too where a quality time can be spent with friends and there were rooms for extra curricular activities.

I would like to add that Burdwan University also holds respectable rankings — NIRF placed it in the 151–200 band overall and 51–100 among state public universities in (careers360) 2025, with a NAAC 'A' grade and recognition as a UGC-approved institution. (Campus Option) Admissions are largely merit-based via WBCHSE marks for UG and entrance tests like BUET-PG for postgraduate courses. With 189 affiliated colleges and a wide range of UG, PG, and doctoral programs, it suits students seeking .

College infrastructure is good . The bulidings and classroom are well maintained and clean . Classroom are very spacious and environment friendly. Wifi is there for any academic purposes .the faculties are also very supportive

I am studying b.sc. biotechnology. The quality of teaching is very good . I think there is no compromisation in teaching section . Curriculum is need to be upgraded though .it is good but college need to keep up with the modern day application and requirements

My course cost around 2.8 lakh for 4 years of my course and it is absolutely value for money because the main reason a subject come for college is to study and our college full fill that requirement.

The campus life is best because the campus life is very big and the most important part is the canteen, the canteen is also great . Everyone try to maintain the campuse clean including teachers and staffs
