Calcutta University was one of the best college for Bengali in our generation. The Old royal buliding lab playground seminar room conference room were also too good in our time. Library and all types of sports facilities were very good.

Academic are always outstanding in our college from this generation to modern generation. Knowledgeable helpful teachers taught us in Bengali Masters. All the faculty members were truly gentleman and kind hearted

In your time after getting Master of Arts in Bengali, all most all students got their job in type of small teachers in school and Colleges as para teacher. Placement was overall good in our time from the Calcutta University

It has one of the best infrastructure it has a good canteen with security very high the classrooms were really good with ac provided in the summers the place is surrounded by greenery and the library as also great options for this sitting and quietly studying.

The teachers and the faculty stop a top not as I was a covered batch I couldn't interact with them on a human level more but the way they have taught throughout the whole 3 years were amazing we learn the lot of things from all the faculty members

We had some training programs which give us placement opportunity but alone on the course they didn't provide any placement opportunities so if you want placement opportunity you have to go for some other courses is well and not this focus on BA English honours

Yeah it's good for a value for money as they don't charge very much and you get your graduation completed.

Campus life is good the cafeteria is good there's the game zone which is fantastic the auditorium is well there are a lot of fest going on which help us interact with other colleges as well and we got to learn about other things as well during seminars.

The infrastructure of the University of Calcutta for the Master of Commerce course is good. There is a dedicated department and well stocked library will access to digital documents for students. The campus is well maintained.

There are ample number of full time teachers and guests lectures. All the faculty members are highly qualified academically and professionally. The teaching methods are student friendly and easy to understand.

There is a dedicated placement cell in the University with placement Officer. There are ample placement opportunities for the professional courses. The package offered is adequate for a fresher as per Kolkata living standards.

Course Fees are very minimal.

The college has clean classrooms, modern labs, and a peaceful campus. Library is well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Hostels are decent with 24/7 security and regular maintenance. Overall best infrastructure of college and hostel

Faculty members are well-qualified and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and provide notes. The curriculum is updated regularly to match industry standards. Overall learning experience is great, and supportive faculty.

Our college has a good placement cell. Regular training sessions are held for aptitude, interviews, and resume building. This year, many students got placed in Wipro, TCS, and Infosys. Best placement for marketing.

Good experience

The infrastructure of our college is quite good. We also get access to Wi-Fi and internet, tha classrooms are also mostly clean. The good thing is that we also get proper access to the library, which is very important for the law students. The hostels can be made much better same goes for the food, but we get much access to sport and games.

The faculty of this college is not that appreciable. The teachers don't seem very much active in their teaching, it can be improvise, though we get 5-6 lectures in a week regarding our course. But the exams are quite good, the questions asked are quite relevant and practical based, which is a good thing.

About 70% of the students got placements, with the highest package at 7 LPA, the lowest at 3 LPA, and an average of 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Biocon, Dr. Reddy's, and Novaris. Around 40% of students secured internships at companies like Cipla. Top roles like R&D associate and lab technician are common

Everything is good.

Calcutta University offers good facilities for students, including well-equipped labs, reliable Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and a vast library. The hostel is decent, with clean rooms. The mess food is satisfactory, and the canteen offers a variety of options. Medical facilities are available and there are options for sports and games as well.

Faculty members are great; they have real-time experience in the field. All professors are knowledgeable in their own field and very friendly, which helps in the curriculum. You can access them; they will provide help anyhow. Overall, there is good college faculty and you can join in to have a great experience.

In general, JMC students don't get placed after graduation; they go to higher education, like masters. In master's, they get help from faculty members. But if you want to work, you will get less amount in income but you will get good experience and real-time knowledge. The average package is 300000-400000.

It is well known that the academics of Calcutta University is said to be the most difficult one. The quality of academics is really rich and focuses on history and literature. The academic structure is organized and relevant to the industry.

The placement structure of the college is really good. Mostly reputed companies come here for hiring. companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon etc come for placements. The college provide with immense knowledge that most students graduated from here open their own start-ups.

It is a commendable university. Worth all your money spent here.

Campus life is good. Many extra curricular activities are conducted.

College infrastructure is good.Well maintained classrooms with Laboratory facilities,Library,Canteen and practical fields are available.Wifi facilities and smart boards are not available. Water cooler are also available. Small gardens,ponds and shady pathway are observed.

Academically it’s good. Timely class and practicals are conducted.I’m currently pursuing Masters’ in Agriculture,Major in Seed science and technology.It’s a well known government university and offers the course at cheaper fees.Teachers are very helpful and communicative.

Placement facility is almost inactive. No placement action is taken as far i know and from the senior also.I have no idea about any placement record till now.It’s a serious concern and University needs to look into it and take necessary measures.

It’s a value for money for me for it’s cheaper semester fees of around ₹3-4K per semester.

Campus life is quite good. The best part is the quiteness and pleasant eye-sooting nature inside the campus.The location is also good . Transport facilities are easily accessible.

University of Calcutta situated in West Bengal.Theres classrooms with smart boards,audio visual boards with projector.Campus area is clean.Hostels are good or bad we can survive.mess food is also good.

I have completed my doctorate of philosophy in library science from qualifying University entrance test.I am also net qualified that is known as National eligibility test for admission in PhD.Fir research scholar there was a library.

There is no Placement for doctorate students.placements support and internship was available for only those who pursue masters or bachelor's from that University.We are only eligible for applied for assistant professor in outside like off campus.

All the professors are amazing.
