24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application (MCA) is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Guru Nanak College, Chennai recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to University of Madras, Chennai.
The MCA course is a two year program and its structure includes a total of 25 papers including specialization and practical papers and soft skill courses, one mini project, one summer internship (end of fourth semester) with 91 credits. The project is aimed to give an opportunity to the students for gaining organizational experience by applying the theory to strategic organizational issues / problems and develop suitable solutions that are likely to benefit the organization / its business development / business practices. The projects will be carried out under the guidance of a supervisor from the college and a mentor from the host company.
Eligibility Criteria
BCA/B.Sc. (CS)/B.Sc. (IT)/Engineering or equivalent Degree (OR) Any B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge course as per norms) with TANCET if not CONSORTIUM Entrance Mark.
Admission Details
Conducted by All India Management Association or must have appeared for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University or equivalent.
