M.V.Sc Veterinary Physiology, and Ph.D Veterinary Public Health are a few popular DUVASU courses offered to students. Moreover, all DUVASU Mathura courses are led by experienced faculty. Syllabus includes:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology of Class 11 & 12 (as per UP Board/CBSE).
Focus on NCERT.
1. Syllabus (2025 Expected)
Topics in Class 11-12 NCERT include Mechanics, Optics and Thermodynamics.
Organic, Inorganic and Physical chemistry (Biomolecules are the main focus).
Biology: Animal Physiology and Genetics are in Zoology and Ecology and Cell Biology fall under Botany.
If given, you may need to study Mathematics, including Algebra and Calculus (30% of the total marks).
Veterinary Science News: Recently, there has been a spread of Lumpy Skin Disease.

2. Body of PYQs Analysis (2019-2024)
Physics: 20% of the questions will deal with kinematics such as projectile motion.
Poultry Diseases and Vaccination: 30% of the Biology section (Animal Husbandry).
Tricky Areas:
In organic chemistry, many reactions are named (for example, the Hoffmann Bromamide).
Just like last year, the probability section in maths consisted of case studies.

Mock Tests: These series of BVSc tests are the same difficulty as the ones expected for 2024.
5. What Is Planned for 2025?
New areas to cover: ideas from the One Health Initiative (included in the 2024 syllabus).
It’s most likely that 180 multiple-choice questions will be tested which is 20% more case studies than in 2024.
