    • Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology is a three-year full-time course offered by University of Delhi, Delhi.
    • The Department of Psychology, Indraprastha College for Women is lauded as one of the finest departments of the college. It holds a very prestigious position amongst the various departments of Psychology across University of Delhi.
    • The first faculty member in the Department of Psychology was Ms. Nirmala Sherjung in the year 1960.  Also, Ms. Preeti Johri and Dr. Prem Kapoor were amongst the first few members of the department, later joined by Dr. Sudesh Bal in 1965. Dr. Aruna Broota and Dr. Veena Rewal, the alumnae of the first batch joined the Department as faculty in 1966. The first batch of eight students were awarded the B.A. (Hons.) Psychology degree in 1963.
    • The Department today comprises 8 dedicated faculty members and nearly 160 brilliant students who are committed to both the academic and extra-curricular activities of the department. The Department is known for producing University toppers and students who excel both professionally and personally. Indeed, many of the Department’s alumnae have made their mark in the field of counseling, education and research, human resource development, social work and civil services

    The college infrastructure is amazing and is properly maintained. We are well provided with all the facilities, the library is fully equipped with all the possible resources. The classroom have projectors, the games room, the ground are always clean and maintained. The campus is hygienic and so are the hostels. The college is completely safe and feels like home.
