24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Kolkata, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
- The Candidates should pass the HS (10+2) Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board / Council / University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen candidates, the minimum required marks in the HS exam is 45%.
Subjects
- The Candidate must have studied the language (Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali) at the HS level as a compulsory subject for which medium he/she will be applying for admission. The second language should be English.
Age Limit
- The age of the candidate should not be above 35 years as of 1st July 2021. For SC/ST/PH candidates,s the maximum age limit is 40 years, and for OBC candidates, 38 years.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration.
