Ph.D. program in Mathematics shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidate should have passed PG examination in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks / equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. (For the reserved category candidates, minimum 50% of Marks is required in all the branches) & passed the entrance test (PET) or who havequalified UGC/SET/CSIR (JRF) or possess regular M.Phil. Degree in the relevant subject or teacher fellowship, followed by the interview conducted by the Research Advisory Committee of the College.
