Adhiparasakthi Engineering College Scholarship

• Lead to Serve, Wings to Your Dreams Scholarship 

The scholarship is worth Rs.25,000 and is awarded every year by the Sakthi Peedam and Spiritual Center of North America to the students who are economically poor but have good academic performance and leadership qualities.

• Arulthiru Amma Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded by Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust, Melmaruvathur every year to the meritorious students. The scholarship covers the entire fees either in full or partially according to their cutoff marks, scored by the students in the higher secondary board exam.

• Higher Educational Scholarship for SC/ST Students 

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the students who belong to SC/ST category and have availed the hostel facility and whose annual income is less than Rs.1 lakh. An amount of Rs.8,000 per year will be granted to these students.

• Full Fee Concession for SC/ST Student

A full tuition fee concession is being given by the Government to the candidates who belong to the SC/ST category and whose annual income is less than Rs.2,50,000 and irrespective of the quota in which they are admitted. These students are not required to pay the tuition Fees. 

• Government of India Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students

Students whose parent’s annual income is less than Rs.2,50,000 are eligible to avail this scholarship. This scholarship is granted to the eligible students in addition to the tuition fee concession.

• Adhoc Merit Grants for SC/ST Students 

These grants are awarded to the students who belong to SC/ST category only by the Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai on the basis of marks secured by them in the Higher Secondary Level Examination.

• State Government Post Matric/Free Education Scholarship for BC/MBC/DNC Students

The scholarship is awarded by the District Backward Class Welfare Officer to the students of Backward/Most Backward Classes belonging to the Hindu religion who have secured more than 40% aggregate marks in the HSC examination or previous year final examinations of scholarship application. These students are eligible to receive concession for special fees, examination fees and allowance for books and many other things. The annual income of the student should be less than Rs.2,00,000.

• Tuition Fee Concession for the  First Generation Graduates

The scholarship amount of Rs.20,000 is given by the State Government to all First Generation graduate students irrespective of the community to which the candidate belongs to. The annual income of the parents of the candidate should be less than Rs.2,00,000 and the candidate should have been selected for admission under Government quota through the single window system of the state Government /Anna University.

• AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme

Under this scheme,the top 5% of students in each branch of Adhiparasakthi Engineering College, Kancheepuram will be given a tuition fee concession of Rs.20,000 per student. This scheme is for the students who are pursuing undergraduate engineering courses, provided that the candidates admitted/allotted are more than 5% of AICTE approved intake in the branch concerned.

• Merit-Cum-Means Based Scholarship for Minority Students

Christian and Muslim students along with the other minority students are eligible for this scheme. Such students will get a scholarship of Rs.30,000 per year. The annual income of the parents of such students should be less than Rs.2,50,000. This scholarship is sanctioned by the Government of India.

• National Foundation of Teachers Welfare Fund

Under this scheme, the students whose parents are teachers, will get a scholarship of Rs.5,000 per year.
