Eligibility Criteria 

B.E./B.Tech 

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects and must have secured a minimum of 55% marks. The minimum marks requirement is 50% for Backward Classes students and 45% for candidates who belong to Most Backward Classes. SC/ST candidates are just required to have passing marks.  

M.E.

Candidates should have passed B.E./B.Tech in the relevant field of study from a recognised College or University. 

MBA 

Candidates should have secured more than 50% marks in their graduation from a recognised University. 

MCA 

Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree of minimum duration of 3 years from a recognised University with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2/College Level.

Ph.D

Candidates should have a Master's degree or an equivalent professional degree approved by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent grade. A degree from a Foreign Educational Institution which is accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency and which is recognized by the authority or any other equivalent authority is also applicable.

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil with at least 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent grade and have successfully completed the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work. A relaxation of 5% of marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade, will be allowed to the SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission.
