Campus had internet connectivity in most places. Labs were well equipped with all required instruments for experiments. The library was a nice place to study in peace. The place was maintained quite well.
I was doing my masters in biotechnology. The professors were quite fine and approachable for the most part. They always helped out with doubts readily. Curriculum was quite tough but covered a lot of topics. I did not find it particularly interesting.
This was my biggest issue with this college. They provided absolutely no placement assistance and it was very disappointing because of how much they advertise online about their record. I found myself without a job for several months post completion of the course.
It was extremely expensive when factoring in the college and hostel expenses. I don't find it worth it at all considering how there was no placement assistance, the unreasonable restrictions imposed on girls and the not so nice food in hostels.
I did not enjoy the campus experience at all. The wardens in hostels were far too intrusive and there was really no privacy. The food was definitely not good and the location was quite remote. The only nice thing was that the campus was calm and quiet.
Regret going there.
The campus had all the facilities in terms of instruments and internet. The library had a good collection of academic books and the college premises were clean. Food was not to my liking since it was pure vegetarian and quite bland.
The quality of teaching was top notch and the coursework was quite good since it covered a lot of important topics that we needed to prepare for entrance exams for masters programs. The faculty were approachable at all times.
There was no placement program at the college for my course. It was an undergraduate program and just a stepping stone towards preparing for Masters and so it did not matter much to me. I found the coursework relevant in my current career.
The cost was on the higher side but it was worth the cost in terms of academics on offer. I liked the quality of education and how research oriented the program was. The professors were quite experienced and always nice to me.
The hostel experience was not great. The campus itself is quite beautiful and calm. There are a lot of unnecessary restrictions imposed on students that dulls the overall experience. The place is safe and well equipped to handle emergency situations.
I have some fond memories of this place.
The infrastructure is great and the labs have all the necessary equipment for life science programs. There is high speed internet on campus and sports and library facilities are excellent. The hostels need to be more spacious and food is purely vegetarian which is a bit disappointing.
The academics is the highlight of this place. The faculty have a lot of industry experience and are quite approachable. The curriculum is tough and extensive but totally worth the long hours. We get a lot of skills that make us job ready.
There are no placement opportunities provided and this is the downside of this college. There is a lot of focus on academic excellence but not enough support given to showcase the knowledge gained and build a career. The professors do help out in providing recommendation letters when required.
It is very expensive to study here and I would only recommend it to people who have money to spend and are serious about their academics. It is not a place to enjoy your college life since there are a lot of restrictions on students.
The campus is in a scenic but remote location. It is quite safe since there are anti ragging measures in place and staff to step in to help in emergency situations. They maintain the place very well. But the hostels can be improved.
Expensive option
The lab facilities and equipment is satisfactory. Classrooms are provided with a projector, desk and benches. There is a library containing all the necessary books, current journals. There is also an area for indoor recreation. Everything is maintained in a fine way.
I am a student currently pursuing Master's in Biotechnology. The academics is properly planned and carried out and is balanced along with invited speakers giving lectures andv seminars about the current research.
Most of the students mainly focus on research and the placement rate is less. Very few companies come for recruitment of students. I have not attended any placements so far but as per the opinion of seniors, the pay is relatively less. The college is very much supportive and helpful in everything.
The tuition fees is around ₹70,000 per semester which is quite expensive. If we work hard, then the fees is worth the money.
There are extracurricular and academic activities where students can freely showcase their talents. Sports, literary events, debates are held. The college also celebrates festivals of India with all zeal. The faculties and other laboratory staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is fine and the college has a infrastructure and emergency facilities prepared readily itself.
