Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teachers  Education (NCTE) and offered by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar.


Eligibility Criteria

 The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Ed. admission are listed below:

  • Successful completion of graduation in any Bachelor of Arts (BA) Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) or Bachelor in Commerce (B. Com.) from a recognized university
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation
  • A minimum aggregate score of 55% at post-graduate level

Admission Details

Candidates are selected based on their performance in the entrance exam. The selection process is usually conducted in September every year. To gain admission to the course, candidates must appear for the entrance exam. After the exam, the B.Ed result is announced along with the merit list by the university which allocates ranks to the aspirants according to their performance. Separate lists are issued for each category and stream followed by the counseling process during which students are granted admission.
