    Master of Science (M.Sc) in Obstetrics Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


    Eligibility Criteria

    • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
    • The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks from an institution recognized by INC.
    • Minimum 1 year of work experience after Basic B. Sc. Nursing.
    • Minimum 1 year of work experience before or after Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing.
    • The candidate shall be medically fit.
    • A 5% relaxation of the marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

    Admission Details

    Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the Entrance Examination held by the university or competent authority.
