Hello Ramesh!

The chances are not good but not bad either. If any of your parents are in Army i.e. they are Ex-Serviceman then you may get the seat otherwise not.

You can apply in AIQ and land in some good colleges too.

Check out the college predictor for a clearer idea.

Hope that helps!

Hello Argha,

If your father is ex- serviceman then you belong to category 6. With a score of 264 marks you have no chance of getting into Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Cantt.

The last rank details of the year 2017 of ACMS is

  • Army category- 19613
  • SC/ ST- 173075
  • Defence- 457348

Even though your father is retired, you still belong to the ARMY category.

Even though this is the data of 2017, its clearly evident that with 264 marks you are not gonna make it to the ACMS.

Ihope this helps.

All the best for the future!!

Hi, greetings. 413 is a nice score. There are various state owned medical colleges across the country that take your NEET score in consideration for admission. With a score of 413, Odhisha domicile and OBC category, it's very least likely that you will make it to ACMS Delhi. You can try in other colleges in your state for admission, but you can definitely try here. Good day.

Dear candidate,
Following is the list of opening and closing rank of ACMS under various categories in the year 2017
                                       Open rank.              Closing rank

  • Army category.  5638 (578marks)  19614(519marks)
  • Defence cat.     33446(425marks).  457348(155marks)
  • St/SC.                 43304(460marks). 173075(301marks)

The army category involves the wards of both serving personals and the ex-serviceman, there are various priorities according to which admission is done.
The defence involves the other forces i.e. indian air force and indian navy.
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!

Hi Lucky

Your score is really nice and I would say that you have high chances of getting ACMS New Delhi as last year, the cutoff for an army officer's ward was around 20000(category rank ). Apply for admission in that college, most probably you will get a seat there. All the best

Thank you

Hello Pradeep

I think yes, because last year the cutoff was around 546. So, there's chance for your Sister

Hey Vasudha,

The admission in ACMS, is Carried by the indraprastha university based on the marks of the NEET. There are total of 100 seats available which are all reserved for the children or wards of serving army personnel, ex army personnel, wards of war widows and other criterias are also there. Hope this helps, thank you for asking question here at careers360.

Hello,
If I consider the previous year data.then your chances of getting admission in a army college of medical science are moderate.
Since your father is in army ao are eligible for army quota in that college.
The cutoff changes almost every year,so not much can be predicted .cutoff depends on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of students who appeared for the entrance exam.
Just hope for the best

Its hard but you can try as last year the cutoff score was 551 and this time there a very high cutoff so u can apply for it while u applying for all india 15% counselling and if the minimum cutoff is less than your score. You have to go to pune for further tests conducted by AFMC.
