Hello Sir,

In the ACMS, admission are provided for the wards of serving and retired army persons. The seats are allocated under the defence category. If you are an current or ex army person and if your ward clears NEET then he will be able to get an admission into ACMS under Defence Category quota.

Good Luck! Will be happy to help with any other doubts.

Hi RK Joshi

The cut off marks of ACMS in NEET 2018 is 578-519 for army category, 460-301 for SC/ST category and 425-155 marks for defence category. so according to this you will not get admission in ACMS with this marks.

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck :)

Hi Pamela,

Well as far as Army college of medical.sciences and army college of dental sciences is concerned, the admission is on the basis of NEET scores only.

The registration is done by the university and them counseling is conducted for all the registered students for both the college but strictly on the basis of NEET UG scores.

I hope this information helps.

All the best.

Hello Shiv,

Army College of Medical Science is situated in New Delhi and was established in 2008. ACMS is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, and is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).

ACMS offers five and a half years course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) that includes a 1-year internship.

  • Candidates can submit the application form in online mode only.
  • For MBBS course, admissions will be offered for the candidates who have passed the higher secondary examination.
  • Admission to this program is through NEET 2019.
  • The counselling process for qualifying candidates is done by GGSIPU.

Dear Candidate

See as per your Marks-327 it is difficult to get a Government Medical Seat even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side.

You cannot get into any government medical college with this mark.

There is very less probability of getting a seat.

At this stage, I will suggest you must use this link to get a fair idea about the colleges both Private and Government you can get as per the score you have received and then plan accordingly.

You may try for private colleges where The rank up to which a college will it will offer a Medical MBBS Seat depends upon the College itself and varies from college to college. You must enquire it from the college you desire to seek admission into.

3. Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur The fees is around 27 lakhs

4. Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore The fees is around 1.5 lakhs

5. Sri Aurobindo Medical College, Indore The fees is around 6-8 lakhs

Hi Snehal,

Good job on getting this score! NEET examination is one of the most competitive exams in the country. As per records, last admission in SC category in 2017 was made at 301 marks NEET UG, so I believe you might be able to get a seat at Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) since you have scored much higher then 301 and first candidate to get admission was at 460 marks. You may view the stats at this link: https://admission.aglasem.com/acms-mbbs-admission/

First counseling has taken place on July 4th,5th. Keep a check for second round and see if you can get a seat. If not I am sure you can get other government colleges with that score, don't feel disheartened. If you have a UP domicile you can look into King George Medical College Lucknow or JNU, Aligarh.

Hope this helps! All the best! :)
