Hi Diwakar,
As far as ACMS's admission is considered, the basis is exactly the same being NEET scores.
And counselling process is not done by MCC under central counselling, rather counselling is organised by Guru Gobind Singh, Indraprastha University.
If you have already registered for IPU and attending the counselling process there then you are all set to be considered for admission in ACMS.
I hope this information helps.
All the best.
Hello aspirant
There is no specific quota for obc candidate under army seats .
There are total 78seats available for army kids in ACMS besides other categories .
The last rank in the year 2018was 19613 (excluding physically handicapped ) .This was at the score of 519 in neet exam .
Best wishes
Hello aspirant
Congratulations for getting a good score. You needn't worry about not getting a seat in acms , ipu . As the merit each year in acms is lower than other college due to less competition. I believe your score is good enough to give you a seat there easily.
Last year the last rank wAs 19613( I think your will be around 11000 to 12000 ) in army category (78seats ) and the rank in this category was the lowest besides other cate2 where it was even higher.
So no worries.
All the best.
Hello
It would have been nice if you had mentioned your rank but i guess it must be around 35000 in UR
Army College of Medical Science is situated in New Delhi and was established in 2008. ACMS is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) , Delhi, and is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).
ACMS offers five and a half years course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) that includes a 1-year internship.
There is a separate alottment of seats for wards of Army personnel ( as in Army Quota) and a separate for the other branches(viz. Navy, Air Force, etc.) of the Indian Armed Forces which are amalgamated within the Defence Quota. Under army category the last rank to get admission there is around 20000 AIQ rank but in armydef quota it is around 400000 something but the number of seats for that is just 4 so it is really difficult if you want to get one of those seats. All the best
You have 100℅ chance of getting govt. Medical college in state quota.. Because states have increased 25% seats..
You will get govt. College. Acms has fees more than 5.5 lac per year...instead apply for MGIMS wardha.
This year seats have increased..you will definitely get a govt. College. Acms is private with fees more than 5.5 lac..I suggest u to go for MGIMS wardha..its fees is 2.4 lac
The infrastructure at army College of medical Science is top notch, offering facilities for students. The well equip libraries are treasure trove of knowledge making research and studying a breeze. The living spaces are good
