Diploma and B.Tech Electrical Engineering Integrated at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Sivasagar Campus, Sivasagar Offline Course

I. The candidate must be resident of any of the north-eastern states (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura). OR, 

The candidate must be Son/Daughter of a Central Government/ PSU employee posted in any of the north-eastern states at the time of application. OR, 

The candidate must be Son/Daughter of a person residing in any of the north-eastern states for the period of minimum Two Years at the time of application. 

II. Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.

Essential Education Qualification: 

Candidates must have passed the H.S.L.C. or, any equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Additionally, he/she must also have passed individually in both theory and practical examinations. Furthermore, he/she should fulfil the criteria regarding Mathematics and Science as stated below:

General/OBC- Score minimum 40% marks (on Average) in Mathematics and Science 

Schedule Caste (SC)- Score minimum 35% marks (on Average) in Mathematics and Science 

Schedule Tribes (ST)- Score minimum 33% marks (on Average) in Mathematics and Science 

Age Limit Criteria:

General/OBC - Maximum age is 22 years 6 months as on 31.12.2024 

SC & ST - Maximum age is 25 years 6 months as on 31.12.2024 

Person with Disability (PwD) - Maximum age is 27 years 6 months as on 31.12.2024 

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in 4th Year (B.Tech): 

The students having a CPI of 7.0 or more with no active backlogs in first 3 years of Diploma shall be eligible for admission in B.Tech in 4th year and will get B.Tech degree by continuing the IDD program for the next three years. 

Fire & Safety Diploma students will be eligible for admission in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering for B.Tech Degree.
