Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the directorate of the State Council of Educational Research and Training Assam and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria

A Intermediate / HS passed student in 10+2 pattern under Gauhati University or any other recognized university may be admitted to the D. El. Ed. the course as per NCTE Norms. The intake capacity of the college is 50 and 20% of seats are reserved for students who belong outside of Assam. The admission criteria for general students is 50% of marks and 45% of marks for SC/ST/OBC.

Admission Details

The college issues an admission form in the month of June for each academic year as per the notification of ERC, NCTE, Bhubaneswar. The admission of the candidates is made strictly on the basis of merit and selection tests. The academic session starts in the month of August.
