Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is five and half-years full-time course. The course involves four and a half-year of classroom study followed by a year of rotating internship. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and approved by MCI.
All admissions shall be based on the merit of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
Age: For admission to Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy / Yoga courses, have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
Educational Qualification: For Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy / Yoga courses, have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th students. or equivalent exam with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY as optional subjects with ENGLISH as one of the languages of study and obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group. 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category-1 candidates provided that for Dental course, the candidate must have secured 50% marks in the optional subjects including English subject.
