Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program at Besant Women's College is offered to students who have completed the recognized pre-university course examination or any other equivalent examinations approved by Mangalore University. Merit, based on the results of the qualifying examination, is accepted for admission.

BBA: Under Bachelor of Business Administration program, candidates must have passed their pre-university course or equivalent exam recognized by Mangalore University. The basis of admission would be assessed only on the merit of the qualifying exam.

B.Sc: Various branches of B.Sc. are available in Food Nutrition and Dietetics and Home Science admission to which shall be considered when the candidates are declared successful in the examination held by the pre-university course or equivalent as per the rule of Mangalore University.

BA: The criteria are the same as those in use for other undergraduate courses: an applicant must have passed the pre-university course examination or its equivalent to apply.

BCA: Admission to the Bachelor of Computer Applications program is given to individuals who have passed the pre-university course or any other equivalent examination as approved by Mangalore University.

M.Com: 140 seats were sanctioned for the Master of Commerce program. Specifics regarding admission are not known, but it likely considers performance in the undergraduate degree.

M.Sc Food Science and Nutrition: Admission to the postgraduate course is probably on the basis of the performance of the candidate at the undergraduate level in an appropriate area, and there are 30 seats sanctioned for this course.
