The studies is good, college life isn't

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is not great, it can be better. The spaces sometimes feel a bit compact, most of the projectors don't work properly and neither the air conditioners. Washroom taps also don't work a lot of times

      Academics

Academics in my college are decent. Some teachers just teach from ppt but some teachers teach genuinely ,studying from whom feels very interesting. The curriculum is not as much as up to date it could be better

      Placements

Placements are not that good as well. The average package is pretty low and the companies coming are also not much well known The average salary is around 8 LPA whereas the highest was 32 this year . The percentage is also low, not many companies come

      Value for Money

The total fees of my course is 16,72,000, which is very high And it's not value for money since it's an off campus . The facilities are nowhere near as they should for the price. Only have one canteen which doesn't even have good food

      Campus Life

It is also very bad There is not much to do in your free time Not mang sports facilities and the gym instructor is also a stupid person who doesn't even give us tt racquets The only good thing is greenery, there are lots of trees squirrels which makes it a bit calming to sit

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is below average, with not so good classrooms, limited facilities, and less maintenance Overall college is way too small and as compared to the amt we pay for the fees not worth it at all

      Academics

The academics are good overall, with a decent curriculum and regular classes. Students who are sincere can build concepts and gain useful knowledge here……………… Very helpful ……………………………….. Overall nice.

      Placements

Placement opportunities are limited especially for high paying and core jobs. Most students depend on off-campus applications and internships, and self learning for better career growth. Needs improvement

      College Infrastructure

The college has a compact and simple infrastructure that meets basic academic needs. The campus is small, making it easy for students to move between classrooms, labs, and common areas without much hassle. It includes essential facilities such as well-ventilated classrooms, a modest library, and a few laboratories for practical learning. Although it may not have advanced amenities or a large campus, the environment remains functional and focused on education. The limited space also creates a close-knit atmosphere where students and faculty can interact more easily, contributing to a supportive learning experience.

      Academics

The academic environment of the college is quite good and supportive for students. The teachers are knowledgeable and experienced in their respective subjects, making it easier for students to understand concepts clearly. They are approachable and always ready to help with doubts, which enhances the overall learning experience. Regular classes and assessments ensure that students stay consistent with their studies. Examinations are conducted properly and follow a structured pattern, similar to those held at the main campus in Netra, maintaining fairness and discipline. Overall, the academics provide a strong foundation despite the college being small.

      Placements

The placement scenario at the college is average and varies from year to year. On average, students receive packages around 8 to 9 lakh per annum, although this can fluctuate depending on market conditions and the performance of each batch. Some years may see better opportunities, while others may be slightly lower. The college provides basic support for placements, helping students connect with recruiters and prepare for interviews. Overall, while it may not offer exceptionally high placement figures consistently, it still provides decent opportunities for students to start their careers.

      Value for Money

The college offers a mixed experience when it comes to value for money. The fees are relatively high considering the small campus size and limited infrastructure. However, one major advantage is that students receive a degree from the main campus, Mesra, which holds strong recognition and credibility. This adds significant value to the overall education and improves future career prospects. Despite the modest facilities, this association with a well-known campus is the key reason many students choose to study here. Therefore, even with higher fees, it can be considered value for money due to the reputation and benefits of the degree.

      Campus Life

The campus life at the college is not very vibrant due to its small infrastructure and limited space. There are not many places within the campus where students can relax or enjoy beyond their academic routine. However, the college does organize basic events and fests similar to other institutions. These fests are conducted on a small scale and do not feature big artists or singers. Instead, they include simple activities and a DJ night, which provide some level of entertainment. Overall, campus life is modest and may feel limited, but it still offers occasional opportunities for students to unwind and socialize.

      College Infrastructure

College has all necessities but needs to improve a little. No wifi or smart boards are there in the college. College campus is sort of clean and hygienic but can improve and make changes. Canteen can also be renovated.

      Academics

I am studying BTECH AI beacuse of my interest and the quality of teching of some faculties is good. Curriculum has important stuff but can make changes with time. The degree of this College matters a lot.

      Placements

As per the data given on the website the placements are good. But as the job requirements are totally different now the students must be worked upon them. I am a first year student so I don't have much idea about it.

      Value for Money

It's costs around 4 lakhs per year. If the placement gets done then it's value for money otherwise I will have to think about it.

      College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is average. Classrooms are decent but not very modern, and sometimes maintenance could be better. Wi-Fi is available, but connectivity is not always stable. The library has a decent number of books, but seating space becomes limited during rush hours. Labs are functional, but equipment needs upgrades.

      Academics

Study culture is good; professors are very supportive, and seniors are also good and help juniors. Professors explain concepts clearly and encourage students to participate in practical learning, projects, and assignments.

      Placements

Placements are average here, and there are also some good startups. But many students crack off-campus placement. Around 70%-80% students get placed. The placement cell is supportive; average package is around 7 LPA.

      Value for Money

The fees are too high; it's around 16-18 lakhs for 4 years. The only plus point is the degree offered here is from the main campus, which is Number 1 GFTI. But it's not worth it here, as the fee is too high; you should try another option.

      Campus Life

Campus life is very poor, as there are very few activities or engaging events for students to participate in. Only 2 fests and one sports tournament are there, which is decent but not at par. College life is not that exciting.

      College Infrastructure

There is only one thing from which I got dissatisfaction and that is the campus infrastructure and its facilities. Till now there are no hostel facilities provided by the institute but from 2022 there are hostel facilities announced. There are many clubs and committees and functioning occurs in a continuous manner. But there are 3 major events named tech vibes, vibrations, and cavorts as technical, cultural and sports events respectively and are conducted and all managed by institute students. The overall college has a reading room, classrooms, music room, and library with many lots of books and journals, all air-conditioned for all different activities. BIT is a campus where students from all over india get the admission, so one can meet people from every part of the country there are regular activities held for the students and there is no race religion or politics quality standards are very good everything is built designed and planned according to how a student life can be made better and disciplined so that students can be directed towards bright future.

      Academics

As I am greatly interested in peruse Computer science engineering and according to my Jee rank I feel best to take in it. And now I am getting that BiT has a very great and talented faculty and is very supportive to students. Majorly about of them have PHD qualifications with them and conduct exams, and quizzes every week to maintain consistency among students. The course curriculum is same as followed by other top colleges in India.Since the exam papers come from the main campus that is Bit Mesra, the level of the exam paper is good. The papers are also checked from the main campus. There are 2 semesters per year and in one semester there is one Mid sem and one End sem. The faculty are is okay okay. They have the vast knowledge of the subject but they are unable to deliver the full knowledge Because of the limited number of the classes. The head of the departments are really very good and motivate students all the time.

      Placements

Internships Opportunities In third year and forth year, students have to go for completion of internship.ot depends on students and the organisation whether they get some kind of stipend or not. Placement Experience Prominent software companies come here for placements like Infosys,Wipro, cognizant, Google, Microsoft, techmahindra etc.they offer from 3 lacs to 12 lacs per annum according to the ability of students.if student has some potential then he can certainly get a good job. As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all. There is every year a chance of getting 90% students placed into different companies, flipkart came in 2015 offered around 7 lakhs per annum package, direct I offered a package of 14 lakhs per annum, amazon offered 12 lakhs per annum, EXL offered 6 lakhs, headstrong offered 4 lakhs, Verizon offered 6 lakhs.

      Value for Money

The college is overall good and the placements are good as well. But the main problem is that the companies visit the main campus only for placements. Thats why we have to travel to Mesra in the 7th and 8th semester of the engineering and that is very expensive and time consuming. After giving 12th board and jee mains any student can fill out the application form for bit Jaipur. Just after Jee's main application form appeared on the official website of BIT, Jaipur. After that process is done and final allotment came by the respective JEE ranking to take the admission. Reservation criteria are also applicable here during the process as in jossa counselling handled by govt of India. So If I speak about Value for Money, it is not as per Fee they are taking, If yopu are planning to live college life, then this college might be bad choice but if your target is only Placements you can proceed to this college.

      Campus Life

College campus was not that huge so and the number of students were not that much so the extracurricular activities are not at a larger scale. But in my last year of engineering outside college were invited and that was a great event. Campus life is non-existent. The annual fest is called vibrations, the technical fest is called techvibes. Both are shit. The library opens at 9:30 and close at 5:30. The facilities in classrooms are adequate. Zero sport infrastructure. Clubs are good and Can be fun with friends Campus Life: Campus life is non-existent. The annual fest is called vibrations, the technical fest is called techvibes. Both are shit. Hostel: No hostel facility is provided.students can use paying guests service in nearby areas.some students take rooms on rent and cook food themselves.this is the negative point of Birla institute of technology Jaipur campus that no hostel facility is provided to students.

      College Infrastructure

It has all facilities but youll be disappointed with the campus size as it is smaller than many colleges. Hostel is not there. Theyve taken a guest house in which students live. These all the well maintained and college is also well maintained. There are trees and greenery all the way in the college.

      Academics

I'm doing electronics and communications eengineering. The faculty is really good. They have a great and deep knowledge about the subjects. Yes ut is difficult to learn through online mode but offline would be amazing.

      Placements

The quality of placements are okay okay in this college. The highest package in the last year was 10 lacs and the lowest was 3 lacs. The average package was around 5.5 lacs. These numbers wouldn't make you happy but i hope these will improve in coming years. Cognizant was the compant which took students from ECE branch the most.

      Value for Money

My course cost 12 lacs for the 4 years. The money is worth it i feel. Campus is small but the study and faculty is very good. Also placements are okay.

      Academics

Teachers really work hard here and classes are done regularly.I am studying BCA and the quality of teaching is very good. All the curriculum are well mannered. All the important subjects are being studied here.

      Placements

Placement is so so. If you will work hard then you will get the placement without any hesitation.Btech course offers a good placement here. The highest package here goes up to 25 lacks or more. The a versa part here offers is about and approx 5-6 lacks per annum.

      Academics

The teachers are very helpful. They guide us not only for academics but if we want to learn extra like i learnt photoshop. The curriculum is easy to understand and includes everything that can make us ready for a career in this field.

      Placements

The college doesnt have a very strong placement cell but many reputed companies visit the college last year. The highest salary went upto 25 LPA. The studens can do internships outside the college with stipend pf about 2000-10000 depending on qualifications.

Have a question related to Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Jaipur Campus (BIT Mesra) ?

what should my daughter prefer cse at Manipal Jaipur or AI from BIT Mesra Jaipur

Choosing between CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) at Manipal University Jaipur and AI (Artificial Intelligence) at BIT Mesra Jaipur depends on various factors, including your daughter's interests, career goals, and the strengths of each program.

      Manipal University Jaipur - CSE

      1. Manipal University Jaipur is well-known for its engineering programs

Hi aspirant, since you have 184270 rank in your JEE mains exam, so according to that you can definitely take admission in the college through JOSAA but chances are there that you may not get CSE and IT branches over there, but you can surely get other core branches for

      Hey aspirant ,

Since the branch selection is totally upto you as of your interest so I can't suggest you for which branch to go because of course just for the sake of good package you can't study the subjects in which you don't have interest straight for 4 years.
