48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
- H.S (10+2) Examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
- At least 30% marks in English and a minimum of 45% marks in the above three subjects taken together.
- Qualified Joint Entrance Examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, JEE (Main) conducted by NTA and recommended by the WBJEE Board.
- The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
Admission Details
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent Examination from a recognized Council/ Board are required to qualify either in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB-JEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board or JEE (Main). Admissions are based on the recommendations made by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
