Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by Directorate of Training and Technical Education, New Delhi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Admission Process

Admission to both the courses will be purely on merit base on the mark obtained in class 10th of 10+2 grading system or equivalent examination.
a) if seats in SC/ST quota remain vacant due to non-availability of candidates in particular category, then it may be interchanged from Sc to ST and vice -versa and then by wards of widows if seats still remain vacant.
b) if the sufficient numbers of eligible applicants from the different reserved category are not received then these seats would be filled up from the general candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should be wards of serving/deceased /retired BSF personnel & ward of BSF Fund Employees.
  • Candidates should have passed Class X or 10+2 pattern or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 41% or equivalent grade(c2) in Science and Maths but not less than 33% or equivalent grade in each subject i.e Science & Maths in one sitting.
  • If a candidate who is XII(12th) passed and doesn't fulfill min.mark eligibility criteria based on X(10th) class, he may be considered for admission on the bases of marks obtained by him in XII class provided he has secured min.41% or c2 grade in PCM (Physics .chemistry and ,Math) in 12th class.
  • Candidates should be between the age of 15 years and 21 years as on 1st Aug. Upper age limit in respect of SC and ST candidates is relaxed able by 5 years.
  • Candidates belonging to SC and ST category to have obtained min.pass percentage in science and Maths can apply for admission in diploma course.
